12:30 look at the date code on those white walls, I bet they are the original times, look how clean those headlamps are... It's for sure 9,000 miles....also the fact that someone bought the front seats tells you they was still like new and worth buying...
1- Check intake - replaced or not? 2- How warn out is the oil plug? 3- Those look like the original skinny white wall tires that used to come on that car when brand new? 4- Radiator fan would have been replaced several times too. 5- Rear end would have been replaced also. 6- Tranny would have been replaced too.
i have a 2001 grand marquis with 250k miles on it and still runs good havent had one problem with it yet i love it it just keeps going i dont ever want to get rid of it
That first White Crown Vic may not have been a p71, but with those BBS rims it had the civilian version, the handling and performance package! Just as good, dual exhaust and all! Also those soft-close or power trunks weren't new in the 80s, they've been around since the late 60's on luxury cars. My parents had a 71 Caddy with a power trunk. I love browsing junkyard though, great times
The Caprice with the 262 CI 4.3L Vortec V-6 1988 was the last year for the 4.3L The last year for of the B body Caprice was 1990. The way to tell the 1990 Caprice is that the 1990 Caprice had the seat belts attached to the front doors for safety standards. 1991 was the first year for the bubble Caprice, Buick Road master Cadillac Fleetwood. The 262 4.3L V-6 was avaaible from 1985-1988. Most people in a car that size opted for the 5.0L (305 CI) V-8 or Oldsombile 5.0L (307 V-8) otr the 5.7L (350CI) V-8. The V-6 was discontinued after 1988 due to poor sales. It was an option since 1981 as the first came with the Buick 231 CID 3.8L 2BBL V-8 until 1984. These were underpowered dogs it was done when we had a fuel crisis in the early 1980's as well trying to get better fuel economy but didn't work these V-6 actually drank more gas than the 305 did.

Wouldnt surprise me at all if a Granny went over a million. They're absolute tanks
That Jeep with a whole though the front was a CFC (Cash For Clinkers) left over. The 4.3L was the 262 CID 4300 Vortec V*6 for 1985-1991.
