Great!!! I just got the MG 300. At first I wasn’t sure about it. A lot of the factory presets were too heavy and extreme for me. But then I started building my own patches and I’m really enjoying it. The Software is fantastic. Truly the smoothest download, connect, update, and use, experience I’ve had in a long time. I’m getting some great tones now. Would you consider sharing this patch?? Thanks, and keep them coming!!!
Nice! I didn't expect it to be that good. What strat is that? Pickups? String gauge! (I guess 09 or 10 since you said you are not using heavy ones) thank you
NUX, you're using the MXR Dynacomp to act like SRV 13's Heavy Gauge String tone? Rory Gallagher used the MXR Dynacomp like this also to make his light strings sound very heavy gauge
I am struggling to believe something sounding this good does not cost an arm and a leg. I am holding off though, because I also use a JMP50 clone amp into a load box and Two Notes for IRs. I'd quite like a unit that lets me run the amp and load box thru the modeller's FX loop, so I do not have to change cables etc if I want to switch from the amp to amp models. The Mooer GE300 Lite does this, but it is four times the price. I am thinking I might like the NUX models more though. To my ear they seem to do better with recreating lighter amp overdrive etc. Modelling has always seemed too heavy on the gain for the sound of old school amps, or they sound puny (the overdrive from Plexi amps especially tend to be cleaner than most models, but the notes are real big and punchy. My Mooer micro preamp has the Plexi tone, but far more gain than my JMP50. it is not right). So, I am wondering if NUX plan to do an big version of this unit?
I know it does not have bass cab sim , but has anyone tried a guitar amp that could be used to record bass? Or any other method that would make recording bass on the unit usable?? Thanks a lot!
The sound is great but i get a lot of delay with the unit(either connected directly to mixer, active speakers, amp or DAW).Will there be a firmware update that fixes this?

Bro, do you mean LP for SRV? or Slash? Besides guitar difference, I think the hand is also important. Ryan will release new tutorial videos, don't forget to subscribe to his channel for more lessons!
Obviously lp for slash bro. I know hand also play role on tone. But it does not change sound profile/characteristic. Sound is sound. I didnt just pickup guitar yesterday. Easy test is to play chord. And the sound is far from this video. I hope so ryan do complete video on nux mg 300 . Because the sound setting here, you wont get the sound on video.
MonkCustom and you are nux representative? Why you all so defensive ya. Talking about diff hand diff tone? Is not rocket science. The sound in the video doesnt get you ryan sound ya. Sound profile is different
@@muthafuckerable Monk Custom is NUX distributor in Taiwan instead of rep., I also play guitar, I just checked your RUclips video and told the truth.... What Ryan dig is already in the video with all the process, if you think the sound is different, what can I say? Practice can make your skill better. ^_____^
for me, and I suspect most, I don't want to sound like him, I want that incredibly expressive tone. When I get close, its SOOOOO much of a juicy and a varied tonal palette and inspires me to play in my own style (and some SRV style mixed in, of course, because that tone lends itself to those stylistic "expressions". I am not going to take a djent tone and try to play blues. so much about blues is expression and his tone (and jimi's tone etc) are well-suited to it).
Great!!!

Add dual delay pedal in the future updates :)
Does this unit have a built in Noise Gate
Looks like you can put it in the signal chain.. NR
Yes it has, but when you use it you loose a lot of response and feeling .... Thats the point i dont like with this box.
Why isn't this patch in the factory in MG-30?????
Be so knd and put it there in the next firmware update :(
Excelent.
I say let's ship about a million boxes to Europe.
Bought this. Using gibson les paul. Copy settings in the video. Direct record. Sounds not even close??? Tf

MonkCustom haha. So you are saying only ryan can get this sound? Not even you? The nux distributor?Because i watch your playing also not that good
It's just me or the guitar is fretting out?
Yes it is, it's a 7.25 radius finger board, it's hard to set low and not fretting out
Brazilian dude bdn that’s what makes it sparky sounding nice clank
... not everything is primarily a matter of money ... :)
Why do people seek to sound like other people? I don't get it. What's the point?
So that people can judge the quality of the unit by comparing it to a sound they're already familiar with.
