Starting in Lulea, Sweden we travelled all the way up to the North Cape - one of the northernmost points in Europe.
Equipped with studded tyres, our iconic roadster took us on an unforgettable, snowy adventure through the Arctic Circle, against some of Scandinavia's most isolated and dramatic backdrops.

I dreamt of having a miata for years, moment i moved to another country were roads and safety were a bit better I bought it and it is the best decision ive ever made! Best car ever.

I don't drive my NB in the winter after the snow flies but, yes, it looks like a great trip. I find that the MX5 is very well suited because of the amount of heat generated in the cabin.
The tiny cabin and the proximity of the engine delivers plenty of heat inside. I drove it once in February when we had a very dry winter and it kept us toasty warm even though it was minus 15 outside.
I used my NB as daily ,even when snowed.Only thing have a second set of wheels on winter tires .

I have a set of summer/track tires on my car and man even when it's just cold I am 'dancing'. The only time its going straight is for that brief second in between 'drift left and drift right' .

Took mine out in the snow on goodyear eagle f1 tyres, it's not too bad as long as you don't completely stop. Only had 1 or 2 countersteering moments when starting up some hills

Hello Mazda, I have a request for you : Please make a new trim level for the MX-5 in France (and europe) that will feature the Brembo brakes and the Rays ZE40 forged wheels. I am asking this because the 30th anniversary edition of the MX-5 is orange and I noticed that a lot of potential buyers in France didn't buy it because of the imposed ORANGE paint job. Many people didn't like at all the orange color and instead wanted to choose within the regular color options (red, grey, black). Most people want an elegant car. Please make that new sport trim a reality for the next years and I guarantee you that you will sell a lot more MX-5. Transmitting this message to the director would be a very good idea. A reply will be appreciated. Thank you.

I think the market would explode when you would release a Mazda MX-5 retro based on the NA, pop up headlights, handling and optic of the NA, and with todays safety standards, it would sell faster than warm bread!
Can't do pop-ups anymore because of pedestrian crash tests unfortunately.
This car already is pretty retro. Its small and lightweight, RWD, naturally aspirated engine... Just like the NA. But with todays safety and technical standards. And this ND sells faster than warm bread! 😅😂

@@GavinRemme What are right tires for colder climate? I got some free budget winter tire set from dealership when I bought the car. I can't wait to throw them away this spring. Next winter I intend to put Continental or Michelin or any other premium brand.

Are you kidding? I had a 2002 NB and now have a 2014 NC. Miatas are not good in the snow even with LSD.
