Thats why they got rid of the original bass player, because he couldnt really pull off the screaming vocals anymore. Im sure the issue of his height didnt help his case. Petty, but when you are the biggest British metal band since Maiden, managers are in their ear about every marketable aspect. Believe me.
@@MetalMike37 - first off, their original bassist was Nick Crandle, from their "Jeff Killed John" times. You're talking about Jason James and yes, while he lost his abilities as a screamo singer, he was kicked out due to drug issues or some other nasty shit and their management decided it's the best for him to quit the band and get his shit together.
@@zanmato94Now Jay's back, in the band Kill The Lights and still screams/growls the same way he used to. I miss him but Jamie is a great replacement, he screams and sings like a young Matt
