Thank you for the location tip! I don't always have a lot of time to play so I try to find places I can advance quickly with the time I have. I spent a few hours there today and landed some incredible catches, including uni's and trophies during the day. But it was at night that the real giants emerged for me. I had some intense, long battles and ended up setting a ton of personal records for Yellowfin, Albacore, Skipjack, Pacific Blue, and Striped Marlin. I walked away with a lot of XP and cash-definitely a successful trip! I went from lvl 66 to 67 while I was there, trying to get to at least 75 so I can go back to the Congo, with this spot I just might do that.
Don't take your foot off the gas. I went from 48 to 66 if I'm correct, but the xp requirements really slow down the levelling after 65. Catching one huge fish after another gets a little mind numbing after a few dozen but once you're outta there, you'll miss it. They need to add more incentives to play if you ask me. If I were a designer for this game I'd put in random things you can catch up to spice it up. Super bonus fish, that give double xp, rare lures that are not buyable and gear, days of premium, etc.
he baught the dlc wich allows you to go there for a certain period of days.... wich is 30 days if you buy cheaper dlc the expensive dlc allows youbto go there for 60 days after those 30 days or 60 days run out you can not go there anymore unless you manage to reach lvl 83 during those 30 or 60 days
the boat and the fishing tackle that comes with the dlc you keep permanent but the licences and japan pass expires after 30 or 60 days depending on wich dlc you get
Thanks for asking. I got there at 48 actually, but as was already mentioned the DLC pack, The Ocean pack in my case allows 30 days of access. Equipment stays, but access reverts to default after the time is up. I'm grinding, but not sure if I'll make it. Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any other questions.
There is a mission to catch a mahi mahi over 35 kg with a calamar string. So you have to troll to catch them. Do you have some success on this spot? i just can’t find any mahi mahi on my map😮
I had to catch 3 mahi on a bucktail, and yes they are out there. They marked 4 spots on the map and mentioned catching them the spots corresponding to the direction the wind was blowing. I finally got them all. 3 were casting with a bucktail, one was trolling w/ the bucktail. This spot is not where I got them, even though 1 of the spots marked by the quest was here, and incidentally was how I found this spot. The best spot I found was along the western edge of the main island for mahi. Hopefully whichever mission you're on marked a spot on the tablet map.
@@mistercrankypants on daytime? I am trying at night now and nothing. It is for the Mastering mission to get with the calamar string a mahi mahi over 35 kg
@@mistercrankypants i know. No worries i found them at your spot.My problem was that i was using 85g 7/0 squids. As i changed for 43g 4/0 i caught my first mahi mahi! All along that drop i found many of them that i could not catch on 7/0 squids! 43g is the size for mahi mahi!

I use the live bait octopus I caught a 295lb tuna
Your map i soo detailed witch depth speps in my game there are only 2 colors of depth why is that?
You probably need to do the maintenance missions to repair your sonar equipment.
Il test it later :) nice video!
How’d you get your map to ok like that mine jus look plain with no depth indicators in on ps5 but my boat one looks like that
You may need to do the maintenance missions to calibrate your equipment.
when you spawn in at the boat dock go to the left and take a quest from the guy next to the suv i think thats how
How is he there at level 54 what is the level to go there

@@secretariat1703 If the mission doesn't specify otherwise try to hit peak times as indicated on the Map tab for best results.
