@@Haley41993 ha! I doubt that! 😆 it’s just a high level area, once you level through the game to the end levels, it will be unlocked. You can see the level for each location to unlock it from the globe. This is the current highest level area- but there was a time when blue crab island was the top place! They just add a new place every so often to keep top level players busy.
@@BoAngles honestly I love the update, but a little disappointed not to get 2 casting trolling rods with 1 bottom. Would've rathered that then the 60 days honestly
I bought the biggest pack and I’m disappointed that I don’t have 2 saltwater casting rods because I want to troll for mahi for the most xp. I’m currently level 62 and I’m hoping to get to at least level 83 so I can fish there permanently.
If you buy the DLC you can fish there at level 30. But only for as long as the pond pass is good for probably no more than 60 days. After that you won’t have access to the ocean map again until you reach level 83
Map looks good but time it's taking to hit ps5 is starting to get boring thinking I may skip doc and just get the 3 extra levels nothing to find anymore saw it all on youtube
What I ment was with the length of time pc players have had and the amount of youtube videos that have popped up there is nothing for us ps players left to find Just hope comps on the map are good then at least we will have something to do that's not already all over youtube
PC really only has 2-3 weeks early access to it. It’s just making me want to play it more. I can’t wait to buy the DLC and in the meantime the YTers are finding all the good spots and rigs for us! Can’t wait 👍🏻
Not to mention they release it on PC to play test it and try to fix bugs before console release so it plays better. It makes sense if you really think about it
PC gets everything first because every game is made on PC (then ported over to other platforms), can't make games on consoles huh?, PC just better in every aspect😉
spend days grinding these mission only to loos the gear you get with no way to secure it to the line dog tooth will bite the squid chain and you will lose gear so grinding the missions is a wast of time
Well just so you know bo not everyone as 50€$ for a boat to fish this update is so Paytowin it’s unreal hope the game dies fast with this update I enjoyed getting to level 58 wasn’t bad but now it’s Bs now so hope you guys enjoy still :) keep up the good work
🧐🧐They really need to delete many of the rails on a upper boat and leave less few thin ones so the rails do not kill the beautiful view all around I don't want to pay money and look at metal rails for hours who would lol

They are much harder to catch while doing the Trolling Octopus mission. Bucktails are much better at attracting the Mahi Mahi.
