You can head here for the day when your cruise ship docks at the port of Cozumel.
Option 1: Book the excursion with the Shore Excursions desk on your cruise ship (or in advance on your cruise line's website) . Approx. cost in Dec 2023 is $129 US (for example, with Princess). If you book with the cruise line, if your tour is running late, the ship will wait for your group. Lunch may not be included with this price. Ask your cruise line.
Option 2: Travel to XCarat independently. You will have to take a ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen. Allow for adequate time, and do not be late ... or you risk missing your all aboard time.
