    Pro-tip, use blue painter's tape to tape your plates into your bindings. Set-up goes much faster. You can also mark which mounting holes you're using with a little piece of tape. Pack a headlight to. Makes it easier to see what you're doing when you're setting up a board on a ski cabin floor with lousy light. And assume your tape trick isn't going to work and record all your binding angles. Yeah, I travel with a lot of boards cause I do the tech for all the fam

    Avran, gives the snowboarders of the internet, what they want. To some it may seem like common sense on how to pack a board bag, I think it mostly is common sense. But it’s always nice to get pro tips, from experienced people. Packing my 1st board bag soon and definitely got some helpful tips. Thank you sir.
    (Ps if any baggage jockey damages my setup before it touches snow, I will hunt them down and throat punch them)

    for those who like to keep the bindings attached, I place mine so they're facing the nose and tail of the board and there's no overhang on the sides.

    Boots in bindings and stuffed with gloves, socks etc if your bag has the height. Wrap boards in a towel so the bindings dont scratch the board when on their sides.

    Deffs buying a bag with wheels this year. Even though I'm gonna try to drive a lot. regret bringing the 3rd board, totally unnecessary. always roll with more than one pair of bindings and boots if you don't wanna be up shits creek without a paddle (on a pow day)! I buckle my helmet to my carry on bag. Don't put locks on your bag they will cut it off and or ruin your bag. they searched my bag for "guns" several times..if you are going to Utah or Idaho and need bud ship yourself a package. vape tops work the best...had to drive to Dinosaur,Co my first salt lake trip it took like 6 hours round trip, just so I could enjoy my trip stoned...then i accidentally carried my vape top on my carry on back home,and nothing happened, so now i just pack them, but be prepared to get fucked

    Avran is basically the snowbard veteran guy from your local shop, that used to rent out jetskis to people in Texas during the summer months but just can't because of ho incredibly annoyed he got by those customers, came back to colorado (totally unrelated to some cowboys in bis ass trucks chasing him somebody out of town for humping somebodys sister) and went all out of fucks to give in around 2005. He is the grumpy guy in a movie whose ice cold heart only warms up gradually because the kid of his girlfriend helps him to bare contact with other humans just that little bit more. Is this a Disney movie, you ask. Fuck no! More like a Paul Rudd "Hey we're all quirky and kinda the same in the end, but a little bit more understood by the viewers" kind of movie. So, back in the shop, with that heart encasing ice block slow, oh so slowly melting, he decided to give you some advice, so that you do not annoy him any more than you absolutely have to. Helping you become a better snowboarder and therefore person is purely coincidental. Or is it... find out more on his Patreon account. Or not. I really don't know.

    People really shouldn't take on more weight than it's allowed. Pilots have to know the weight of the passenger and luggage to ensure the flight is safe. Planes have crashed due to overweight issues in the past and people have died.

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  3 года назад +4

      Tell that to the people that should buy 2 seats because they're so big but still buy one.

  • @X_CHILLer_X
    @X_CHILLer_X 4 года назад +5

    I have to say this being a student pilot and also some one who works in the airline industry. You should understand that having your luggage improperly weighed just to save money is not as smart as you think. It helps you save money but telling people about the way you do it, will have retards copying it. The point I am trying to get across here is the aircrafts weight and balance. The ramp agents who load the plane are unknowingly calculating false weight for the aircraft. So the (CLR) Cargo Load Report is not correct which is then handed off to the pilots. Which they enter in all of the information from the (CLR) plus the number of passengers, fuel and etc. I love this channel being a snowboarder and also doing many other action sports. This is the one thing I gotta disagree with you about. Keep up the good work and tell Kevin to be carful with those toaster strudels lol.

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  4 года назад +10

      Till they start weighing these whalephants of people that have to have the arm rest up so their fat can envelope me and anyone else in the middle seat I'll continue to do it. Being charged $50 to $100 bucks more for being .1lbs over is fucking absurd. If we crash because of that which is still less likely than being hit by a fat whalephant on the hill we deserve it. Guess I'll tell Kevin he can't eat any Toaster Strudels before he flies now. He's going to be real upset.

      It'll be fine, they know the scales are not totally accurate and you can only fuck with the scales so much. They leave a ton of leeway for passenger and cargo weight.
