According to all the other members and even their producer at the time, he had trouble with the newer material and they were constantly having to have Jack record his solos and other pieces for the albums. I think Rusay was great in his own right...but it's possible CC would have never evolved. It's a story as old as bands...
I just called bob’s household and his wife said that he has a family now. She said that even though he doesn’t have an interest in music anymore, he does still keep in touch with some of the members. So I’m happy for him. She said he has been in touch with Chris Barnes as well as some other members. I’m not sure if that’s true though because Chris just said that he hasn’t been in touch with him on Instagram.
What's Bob been up to these days since he got kicked from Cannibal Corpse? I know he played golf in the early 2000s, but I've also heard that he's a truck driver now

Bob Rusay WAS cannibal corpse. Here's the ultimate example of a band that evolved but got progressively weaker and lost the magic they had. Technical riffs have their place, but lost the brutality of the first 3 albums. Barnes destroys Fisher who ruined Monstrosity when he abandoned them for the big time.
