- For Back to School night, students appeared in this video saying “Welcome to Ridge” in their native language. At Ridge Elementary, there are 22 different languages spoken by students and their families.
In Henrico County Public Schools as a whole, students who are English learners speak 84 different languages representing more than 100 countries! Students who come from other countries who speak other languages but are not English learners would increase the numbers even more.
