My first time to the bins in Rochester NY..... and I found a Dooney and Bourke bag in great condition.....I was so shocked to find such a nice handbag......
The coach is real. Two things to look for: symmetry of the logo fabric on the outside ( it should be centered). Next the interior fabric should be solid and not logo print. Yours passes the test!

For your bins challenge maybe look at the area in your closet where you are low in a category and only source that? And maybe throw in some funky items if you find them 🙂

I’d be interested in seeing a tutorial about general closet maintenance, for example, how long to hang on to items before relisting or re-donating, how to determine when something is a good item to send to thredup, the realreal, or others like that. Before I went to Cancun in June I bought a few swimsuits from Shein and they are so nice. Made very well and was priced so well. I dont buy their clothes but love the swimsuits!

Heel the sole cobbler in Manchester NH is very talented . My joe is very persnickety bout his Georgia boots loves them and he wore out the sole before he did the upper part ( he is carpenter and is hard on his tools boots included ). He took his boots them for resole ing and my joe was "wicked" impressed . They are OUR cobbler for everything now. I am sure they repair that tote effortlessly

Regular sized Coach bags usually come with a creed patch on the inside. For smaller bags and wallets, the creed patch is usually absent. Creed patches contain a paragraph in all capital letters that actually make sense. Some fake creed patches look okay from afar but make no sense when you read them.

Isn't that beginning crazy. This is a new setup at our bins. It's only like that for a few minutes, and honestly, after a minute the hype wears down and the bins are easy to get to. It does take some getting used to, lol!

I went to Old Navy to get some cheap shorts for the summer ! They are not cheap! Their denim shorts were like $40 so two pair of shorts was $80. Never wore them ! I will probably try to resell them on poshMark which I know they don’t sell for a lot but hopefully I will get some of my money back!

2 Carriages> I have been there and could not get one carriage. One time I had a carriage with a couple of things in it I planned on buying . Went down one of those tight isles for the glass came back my carriage was gone. Left without buying anything that day
I think $30 might be low for all of the Barbie clothes. Not an expert, but was trying to prove to my friends that I did look like Barbie in my new vintage dress so I was scrolling through a lot of Barbie clothes trying to find a match. Uniqueness, collection and decade seemed to increase the price. Since yours is still in the plastic and looking new that adds to the price. I don’t think it is so much people are looking for a particular outfit as much as something they don’t have. In all of my scrolling I wasn’t seeing so much repetition, but did notice some pretty expensive collections.
Yes this is true! I worked at a consignment store for many years and was trained on authenticating coach and other designer brands. I sold a coach mini dome bag on Mercari and the person requested a return because she thought it was fake because it didn’t have the creed. I knew it was authentic so I resold in on poshmark with no issues!
@@MyrandaBennett this is good to know. We received a coach clutch at our consignment store the other day and it has no creed. I kept looking for markings in an attempt to authenticate and simply couldn’t find anything, so my inclination was to think it was probably a fake. 🤷♀️
Lori I've been wondering how long it would take to hear that you wanted a lighter bag to wear when you go to the bins. Coach bags and some of the others are just too heavy and you're absolutely right. Also Komar is a huge name with the 70 plus community, they love housecoats

My bins are also back to normal! Still have to wear masks tho due to Sacramento requirements for them but no longer have a time limit etc tho I do some what miss the one person per bin rule since people are back to fighting now at each bin
I have a coach CC bag like that except it is a crossbody. My mom got it from the coach outlet back in 2012 I would say and there is nothing that says coach on the inside of my bag either.
I actually got a Dooney that I didn't share that has a terrible smoke smell. It's so bad I'm thinking of soaking it. Not sure, I need to do some research.
Not sure if it’d be worth buying for just a bag but we flip houses and when there’s a smoke smell we run an Ozone air cleaner for a day or two and it totally makes the smell disappear. It’s incredible! So it could be used in a room with whatever item you want to de-smell in the room. Just an idea.

Depends per location. Some every hour. Some every 30 minutes some every few hours. And it also varies per day on how fast they can process stuff into the bins. So you just have to go to your local one and see for yourself :)
