Hi Mark thank you very much for this!! Superb clear and concise explanation 😎👍 this vid will definitely help me massively in connecting runs👌 I think I’ve been doing the whole process too fast in hind sight. Your efforts are very much appreciated in filming this session 👍 great info I can’t wait too put into practice 👍👍 cheers Mate! 🍺
Great video , great tips , keep them coming , and the fish ,funny how we all have are own ways of hooking up , don’t think the ginger fisherman would agree with you , love to see you two have a one on one conversation ,
An interesting and informative video. I am trialling circle hooks at the moment with one rod using trebles and the other using circle hooks. Unfortunately, the only runs I've had have been on the treble rod, so I've not had the opportunity to experience landing a fish with circle hooks.
Like them circle hooks use them my self miss a few bites but get more den I lose nice to see more people using them con from Ireland 🇮🇪. Keep them good content coming con.
Nice one Mark, I've found pointing the rod tip at the water and winding firmly down has worked for me but that's with 4 inch and smaller baits. want to try some 6 inch baits this year so will keep what you said about the two runs in mind, cheers.
Hi. Appreciate you taking your time to make this video. If you don’t mind me asking, which brand of circles do you like? They only have catfish circles at my local shop. Also, iwhat sort of size hooks would you adapt for certain size baits? Cheers
For the smaller baits 3 inches or smaller I use Owner light circle in a size 1 and for the larger baits over 3 inches Fladen circle hooks in a size 1/0
Hi Mark, like yourself, I have used Circle Hooks for 3 years, with no deep hooked fish, biggest fish this season 281/2lb, starting my fens campaign tomorrow on the 20' drain, on the Whittlesea AA, never fished this water before, any tips?? Love the video as usual.
Quality mate. I got a lot from this video. Thank you 👍
Glad it helped
The most gentle hooksetter i've ever met 🎉
You wouldn't say that if you saw me back in the day using trebles
I drop on average one fish in every Twenty takes and in the last Five years one fish died it pissed me off bigtim
I fish a lot of compations some 10.000euro+ everything has to be perfect, maybe it comes down to confidence
Nice video Mark.
Hopefully this will get more people into using them and giving them a go👍🐊
Thank you👍🎣

Glad it was helpful! Circle hooks can be very frustrating but at least you are getting runs on the trebles

@ Thank you sir.
Blimey, I nearly feel asleep waiting for the first one to take the bait. lol
Amazing on another day the same fish would probably hit the bait at 100mph and I would be winding down instantly

I don't think I will ever use single circle hooks
