    So discernment is the key

    A nice way to bring the Pantheists and Atheists on board..😛
    In case of the Pen one doesn't need to care about the source and the process. Without knowing about the source and the process one can still JUST use the pen.
    But one/couple of question will make the it absolute necessity to think and ponder on the source and process.
    The pen was created by a conscious mind.
    The pen was created by someone wanting/willing to make it.
    More importantly the pen was created for a purpose.
    So what is purpose of Human beings?
    Do we even have a purpose or is it even necessary to attach a purpose to ourselves?
    Our life is meaningless or one can say it is useless to have such a consciousness and don't bother to ask these questions.
    It is the most important subject any conscious mind can ask.
    May Allah guide us.

    • @evilcowboy
      @evilcowboy 5 лет назад +3

      Thats a nice way of looking at it. The way I see it is I do not define a line between religion and faith as I believe every religion is founded in Allah/God, combine all the beliefs and it paints a picture that is literally described in every scientific theory to date. Allah/God is very real we just divided our understanding of the being.
      For example I believe Muhammad and Jesus are depictions of the same person and maybe Muhammad may have been the reincarnated soul of Jesus. Combining them all tells us the truest picture of Allah/God and how Allah/God correlates with us. At the end of it all you sort of realize that you cannot look at anyone who believes with a linear line of thought any different as if they know Allah/God then that is truly the point of it all.
      It has led me to respect all religions because I know if it exists then it all derives from Allah/God and I have no business dividing it up in my mind and placing a limitation on a being that is without limitation.
      I do truly feel sadness for the being because I know if it was me and I had given so much to the people I created and they denied my existence then I would not be as graceful, patient and understanding as Allah/God has shown us all to be. This has also led me to know the suffering every single chosen person be it Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, Husayn Ibn Ali etc was done simply for a love of Allah/God and love of their people who follow them. We need every religion to validate sacrifices made by these people and to honor them rather than questioning what is a peaceful way of life.
      And your right, may Allah truly guide us.

      The existence of God can be confirmed within the first 3 verses of Genesis (old text) which is an exact description of sonoluminescence an aspect of physics most people doesn't even know happens today. In a 2000 year old book it described an atomic reaction between water and sound. Everything after was a reaction to this action so the Big Bang may have been a repeating action in which through other aspects of physics the energy of the light created became so great it exploded and caused a Quantum reaction that resulted into what is here now.
      Just a thought.

    The rivalry between science and religion is manmade. Religion and theism can coexist with science, just as long as we don't look at religion as a science or turn science into a religion. Faith should be practices and expressed privately, and respected. I bet a lot of people (theists and atheists included) didn't know that many scientists (I've actually read the majority of them) are not atheist or even agnostic.

    Fantastic. Recently scientist have discovered that the expansion of the universe has increased in speed - something totally contrary to Newtonian physics. Based on Newton's observations objects that are in motion tend to stay in motion unless another force is at play, i.e. friction. The vacuum of space has no friction so all objects should be traveling at the same speed that they started with. The only thing that could accelerate this speed would be a other force. They've given this force the Letter G to identify it.

    -So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
    - Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
    - (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
    - Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou [art] God.
    - And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
    - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
    - No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him].
    - The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
    - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    - Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.
    - For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
    - For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
    - Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
    - Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
    - But to us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom [are] all things, and we by him.
    - Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
    - But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
    - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
    - He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
    - Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

    • @evilcowboy
      @evilcowboy 5 лет назад

      OK
      Atheism is a belief God does not exist. You must have faith God exists to deny his existence and have the claim be valid, it cannot be a non-belief if you are capable of believing something even small things. To validate it as a legitimate position all the elements you deny exist must exist otherwise by self admission it is not a valid position and thus proves Atheism is invalid.
      Read the first 3 versus of Genesis and then look up sonoluminescence. How exactly can you explain a 2000 year old book describes an aspect of physics most do not even know happens particularly an atomic reaction between water and sound?
      Also there is the small detail that Atheism is ONLY 2.4% of the U.S. the rest believes in God so the burden of proof is not on the people who believe in him that falls to the 2.4% who believe he doesn't. So YOU must PROVE he doesn't exist.
      For more of a thought experiment answer why infinity exists (observed in the solution for Pi being a non-repeating infinite number) and why you have an imagination without inciting the name of God or the supernatural. The truth is your imagination is equally as supernatural as you think God is.
      As for the qualities of God combine every religion and it tells you. There is no right and wrong religion all of them are correct but must be combined to get the truest picture of God and how he correlates with us.

    Science and Religion can not proved what was in the beginning.
    In the beginning is only in our consciousness.

    His arguments and explanation don’t sit with me. Claiming ideas with solidity when at best they’re theories. IE: “before the Big Bang there was no time, no space, no matter.” Hoping we don’t ask such pertinent questions is basically the whole circular argument of god itself. Also to hold tight to the theory of no matter or anti matter before the Big Bang is insanely presumptuous. So a huge basis of his layout to map towards his conclusion is flawed. I dunno. I completely disagree. Though it's fashionable in TEDx talks to call religion and science compatible, they are in fact opposite in their methodologies
    In science, knowledge starts with observation leading to investigation, rigorous testing, verification and review... only then is a conclusion warranted which is always subject to revision and correction. Science is not married to a conclusion but only to evidence. This is intellectual honesty of the highest order.
    Religion does the opposite. It starts with assumed conclusions and then proceeds to look for anything it can to support it. It's methodology consists of revelation, faith, indoctrination, emotion and authoritarianism. More importantly religion's conclusions are absolute and never subject to review or change. This is bias confirmation of the highest order.
    You could not invent two more polar opposite methods of acquring knowledge.

    • @mrknowitall4359

      No where does he say that religion should be considered the same as science, he is just stating that neither of them overwrite each other.
