- I was the 23 minute pacer at this parkrun. There were 286 runners.
Three laps of an undulating course. Bit of a sharp uphill bit and then gentle downhill for the rest of the lap. 65m total elevation. All on good quality tarmac paths. Plenty of room on the wide paths.
Very nice park featuring Cartwright Hall as the centre piece. There is also a café in the park.
Parking: Small free car park at the park but also lots of good on road parking available.
My Strava/Garmin had this course at 5.1km and it did feel a little long.
Really good parkrun overall. Well organised, friendly. All good!
Thanks for the run round. What really p*ss*s me off is the lack of respect for the person making the announcements. EVERYONE should be quiet and listen, even if they've attended the parkrun 1000 times.
Tricky job pacing. Knowing the course help.
@doingmybest6438 definitely need to know the course! This one was longer than my watch thought it was, but still fun anyway. Merry Christmas!
