    I love how both the DeLorean time machine and the proton packs look like they were built in a garage or workshop...both are very raw designs.

      Even big companies do this. Look up any high performance car with mule in the search. Exotic car mules look just like that. LOL

      @@GhostbustersNW I saw that and I loved it. I wouldn't mind seeing more Ghostbusters crossovers with other similar fandoms and themes.

    The proton packs were one of the coolest sci-fi ideas to come along in a long time! “Bravo!!” to whoever came up with the idea… and the special effects people who made them look very real.

    Who else just cranks their sound system to 11 when Pheobe Spengler first boots up that rebuilt Proton Pack? Aural bliss

    The Proton Pack is known as The Proton Blaster, The Particle Thrower, The Particle Gun, or Particle Wand.

    Damn I thought that was Egon's grandSON. But I am alone thinking that the sound of the pack's stream is one of the coolest sound effects in cinema?

    I heard the reason for crossing the streams being dangerous is that the Streams fire at slightly different frequencies and thus the colliding Protons could create anti-protons (this wouldnt happen if the streams are at the same frequency, this would apparently only let the colliding Protons bounce off), and the explosion that destroyed the Gate and the Marshmallow Man in the first movie was basically caused by the Anti-Protons colliding with normal Protons and this Matter-Antimatter Annihalation caused this huge ammount of energy in a form of an explosion.

    A "Proton Pack" I think could be built, however it would at lease four to around nine years to complete! Just making an judgement of a possibly. If we continue too develop, different technologies of the future, like devices in the scientific world than it is a possibly to me!

    Just make sure not to "CROSS THE STREAMS"!

  • @ghostface1529
    @ghostface1529 Год назад

    In my option crossing the streams itself doesn’t ruin your day but the energy exchange does
    Since we are dealing with positive and negative charges think of ghosts and proton streams as magnetic charges ghosts will naturally attract the proton stream and be ensnared in it because opposite charges attract
    And there may be unspecified tech involved to help keep the stream wrapped around a ghost that unintentionally causes the streams to combine
    That’s why egon chooses to tell the guys about that in the ballroom, because now it’s actually a potential problem given they all are blasting the same target. He may have forget about it but he remembered to warn them at the right time in the end
    With that science roughly settled we now have up to 4 highly particle streams of the same polarity combining because of programming with the pack and the insanely high charge of the streams causes an ever increasing volatile energy build up
    That energy build up will then catastrophically release in a violent explosion capable of destroying entire worlds and all life at a cellular level through unspecified science
    So in short crossing the streams isn’t the problem but rather through unknown science and tech it’s the charge of the streams and magnetic science that are the problem
