You make navarathiri varuputtu and store for 10 days
I am from.thirunelveli living in sg
We use to do this for navaratiri kolu as more crowd visit our place this puttu is hands on
Puttu flour 1 cup
Coconut 1/2 cup
Jaggery 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder
Cashews
Roast the flour to rose gold colour then roast coconut add to flour
Add Cardamom powder then powered jaggery when the flour is hot then add ghee roasted cashew and mix
Store in airtight box after cooling
This is very vey tasty and suitable for navatiri prasadham
Save it for the next year navrathri..Thanks for sharing❤️

You can get it from some of the Indian stores ..i got it from sri murugan

Suba, Instead of Ellu podi, u can give peanuts or groundnuts balls or Rava Ladoo or Chocolates also. Because Ellu urundai is done during ceremonies. Ur previous day saree & pearl malai & Friday's saree, mookuthi all suits u well.👌👏👍🙏🫶❤️🌹
Yes dear before doing I checked with my mom since she only suggested to make ellu podi for surprise guests..she gave an explanation that we are not making it as a urundai and this was the prasadam given at different houses during her childhood days in her hometown ...so found this is an approved neivedhyam only for Navrathri

I always make sundal all days but in small qty. whoever in the house likes it will make accordingly. I don’t eat much. Due to the same reason you said. My mom and in laws ask me to add hing and ginger to cut short bloating. Still not much use 😜

Suba, to avoid gastric problem, u can add asafoetida to the sundals while seasoning it with mustard,urad dal curry leaves, sundal podi, do try by adding perunkayam powder also. And for sweet sundal add a pinch of salt to enchance the flavour. Diwali shopping is over? How is ur Amma & ur in-laws? Pls convey my Namaskarams to them. My best wishes to ur family also.
