It’s funny how with each generation of graphics some people will claim that they can’t get better. Or they are photorealistic. But when you put it side by side with non-cgi, you see much more room for improvement there still is for graphics.
I've always felt that there is a plothole in that bag of dirt because no matter what you fill it with, it will never be heavier than a gold idol of the same volume, unless it is gold as well, and for a man of science like Indy, not knowing that, is a important mistake
But was it this mistake that triggered the Ball trap? Right? You can't get everything right, not even if you're Indiana Jones, James Bond, or that guy from Mission Impossible... Especially because, right at the cave entrance, it's already a bit far-fetched how he fills a bag with sand as if he somehow knew he'd need to make an "equivalent exchange"
@vcdecide yeah, but still.. I can't help but feel Indy was just too naive when he thought he could fool the mechanism with that little amount of dirt 😅
It sounds stupid to defend a little mistake nearly 45 years after the release, yet I can't resist, 1, he fills up the pouch beforehand, so it looks like he was expecting this kind of trap, 2, he takes a good look at the gold idol before the switch, 3 from how the trigger trap, it looks like his pouch was *still* too heavy, maybe it's not the case and the trap always trigger that way, but at the very least it seems his estimate was close. So the idol looks like pure gold because it's still shiny with no rust, but it's hollow, and Indy saw through that, that's why he even removed some sand. A cube of gold of 5cm x 5cm x 20cm would already weight nearly 10kg, but look at how he hold it, how he throw it over the pit, it's way, way lighter, his bag of dirt do seems right if you take the following scene into account.
Mission Impossible TV series had several. The Films on the other hand is Ethan Hunt is the main character. Also I guess the game could not have John Williams iconic score from Raiders of the lost Ark. Lincencing probably. Or it would killed the adventure mood.
I believe this may be a first for the channel. Game Console vs Media Player (Icons and names are switched at 0:05)...also Game vs Movie. Plus its done in over under style instead of side to side. Getting deja vu from last video's comment about this moment. Very well done on the game's part to recreate the scene.
You’ve left me wondering now... I’ll have to replay it just to see if he still has the whip afterward, like in the movie scene where she retrieves the whip instead of the hat. In this scene here at 7:52, we can see he has the whip in the movie but doesn’t have it in the game
He become doctor octopus in the game

Oh yeah. I remember thinking the OG Xbox was as good as things could possibly look.
Accurate, My dad loves this movie

@@JohnCharb87 I didn’t even know there was a Mission Impossible TV series... I thought it was only in movies.

The game definitely very close to the Original Indiana Jones movie 1981 , all the movie cut scenes in the game wow that's fantastic great job
isso só mostra como em 1981 os gráficos já eram bem avançados, praticamente igual aos de hoje xD
7:30 Huh, that's a weird detail. The whip is in his inventory if we're going on game logic.

Ironically, if you lower the video resolution to sub-HD, it makes them look more similar.
You know damn well you didn't use no Betamax as reference for the movie clips😁
deixa em 480p que fica ainda mais parecido, muito foda xD
WTF Sony SL-5000 won by far!!
The game looks actually terrible.
Rubbish
