My device no longer mirrors or broadcasts a wifi network. There is no autokit network showing up on my iPhone.
I really wondering if this product really work. I got 2Air (5.0) paired with phone. But it can not connect to wifi.
If it is compatible and cannot be connected, try going to the background settings page.
1. Startup delay 1 or 3 or 10
2. Select CarPlay/Android Auto as the connectivity mode.
3. Turn on synchronization mode
4. Ignore Bluetooth and reconnect the phone
Works for a while in MG EHS, then disconnects randomly. Sometimes it works like a charm
This didn't work for me. It is saying turm off wifi everytime I click on update, even though wifi is turned off. So, can we uodate it via laptop?
If it's an Android get a different browser (don't use Google Chrome), or get an Apple phone to go into the background and update.

My car only has one USB A input, is it possible to start Android Auto with carlinkit5.0 and place the pen-drive in the carlinkit5.0's USB A and play the songs on the pen-drive while Android Auto is running? Because when I connect the pen-drive to USB A on the carlinkit5.0, the multimedia recognizes the pen-drive but Android Auto is unavailable
Songs on USB flash drive and wireless AA can't be used at the same time
Got mine but also does not work. The phone does not connect to the Bluetooth (even if the pairing worked). Tried with S23 Ultra, Pixel 7 and Iphone 11. I tried to upgrade as shown in the video but I get "Unable to upgrade"
i have the same problem, it pairs but it doesnt ever connect. when i press to connect nothing happens. have you found a solution?
What car, does the car have wired CP or wired AA?, reset it, start delay 1 and see if it works, if it doesn't you may need to upload logs@@tunabbq6455

I had the same problem guys, I am using carlinkit 5.0 on my 2020 GMC Acadia, this is what worked for me.... I update carlinkit firmware wirelessly via my phone, and used Firefox browser for upgrade process, chrome and edge did not worked for me.
Once the firmware is upgraded repeat the process again until you see the message that you have the latest firmware,
Then I connect to my car stereo via Bluetooth and then connect to AutoKit via Bluetooth, and as soon as connected to Bluetooth, I connect my phone to Carlinkit via cable as well, then I got the prompt in the car stero for permission, allowed it. Once that part was done, my phone was connected and Andriod Auto or apple carplay icon on the car stereo was active, I make sure it's working while the cable is connected. Then I disconnected the cable. Power off and on my phone Bluetooth. And now I am able to coonect wirelessly.
Make sure phone's wifi is also on.

Uma pena que não funciona para os carros da Toyota vendidos no Brasil. Testei esse modelo 5.0 em um Corolla Cross e num Corolla XEI e mesmo fazendo atualização, não conecta. Vou tentar entrar em contato com o suporte para ver o que vão orientar.

Step 2: After successful connection, visit 192.168.50.2 in your phone's browser to enter the background.
Step 3: Click "Settings" >> select "Media Category" to the "CD".

It disconnects approximately every half hour and says there was an error, this didn't happen before, I use Android, how can I fix it, I updated thinking that would fix it but it doesn't. when I use direct cable to the phone it does not disconnect, so it is a carlinkit 5.0 problem

Please try the following solution.

Step 4: “Settings” >> “Start Delay” to 1 or 3.
Step 5: “Settings” >> Turn ON "Sync Mode" option.
Step 6: Try a different USB cable or different USB port in car, and plug it into your car.
Step 7: After your phone deletes the box's bluetooth and wifi connection records, restart the phone.
@@carlinkitbusiness347 Thanks for the answer, I followed all the steps and it didn't work. I did a 30 minute trip and it was disconnected halfway through the tour. What else can I do to solve that problem?
Chrome browser didn't work for me. Tried Firefox and it connected and updated first time. Now works in car mg4

I had the same problem. If you are using Chrome it will happen. Then I used Firefox and the software update worked. After this Carlink is working fine for me.

Me too. It's android phone . I used the autokit app . Somehow always latest firmware 1.0. Am I correct ?
dosent work ur device is trash
Its a crap, DONT buy it. It has an USB-A port, but it doesnt work with that only with USB-C. It also keeps disconnecting - I tried to change the settings as advised on the guide I found and it helped for a while, but started to disconnect again (at least now it connects again by itself, before I had to unplug it and plug it in). The software shows that its up-to-date and still doesnt work properly. Its a nightmare and waste of money!

I have just followed these instructions and now my device is totally unresponsive and won’t power on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND UPGRADING, if it fails you have a very expensive piece of plastic. NOT HAPPY!

I bought it from Amazon about 5 months ago. Carlinkit support have told me they won't provide any service or support as I didn't buy it direct from them. Their only suggestion was for me to buy another one from them, which I definitely won't be doing.@@carlinkitbusiness347
