Totally feel you regarding oneshots and 1 volume series. I don't have any oneshots in my collection at all because I just can't get attached to characters and get into the story much in that short a span of time. There are probably exceptions to that, but I would rather just have multi volume series instead.
Yeahh i find it really hard to connect to the story and mostly in the case of BL sometimes the story either focuses entirely on the plot or sacrifices plot for explicit scenes so the balance seems to be really hard to come by from my experience

Sometimes i think there doesnt need to be rhyme or reason as to why you do or dont like something. Sometimes it hits and sometimes it doesnt. I do also think theres been a lot more meh stuff being printed but promoted? And marketed by publishers? It feels like digging through mounds to find the gooduns 🤣

But I also love hearing why people didn’t enjoy things so making these type of videos is also enjoyable
KITTY!!!! 😻 Don't worry, not all cat manga is great. But that has more to do with the writing rather than one's love for cats. If you want to read a great cat manga, I suggest trying A Story of Seven Lives (unless you've already read it). As a mother of kitties myself, that one really hit me in the feelz in the best kinda way. It is only a one-shot, but it's a thick one and I personally think it was the perfect length for that particular story.
dw i love therapy game and therapy game restart but didn't really care too much about Secret xxx! I think the only thing I cared out about in Secret xx were the characters that would end up being in therapy game haha. The story and characters that they focus more on in Therapy Game are far more interesting and it does help that it ends up being a longer series which helps strengthen the character arcs.
I agree! Allergy xxx and Secret xxx are imo very forgetable and weak, and it surprises me how much better Therapy game is. The dynamics and romance of the leads in Therapy Game are much more interesting and captivating.
crossplay love x otaku punk was a series i got rid of as well. i read the first two volumes of it and it just wasn't my preferred style of humor. it did make me chuckle here and there, but i wasn't crying from laughter as much as others seem to be.
It was enjoyable in a way but the more I sat on it and didn’t continue the series the more the story felt abit flat and the humor felt abit forced? I also didn’t find it as hilarious as some people said it was 😢
Ok we align again lol Links was just boring and I got the characters confused. No. 6 was just ok but the whole time I felt like I was missing something.

hi i wanna tell you that no.6 is originally a light novel series so that can be the reason the manga seems to be missing something... at least i think this comparing the two of them and really recommend giving a try to the ln 😊

I loved the movie so I do wanna continue the manga personally, plus they do have a significant age gap... (usually something I avoid but I didn't find out until after the movie)
I totally agree with not enjoying a “supposed to be” mature manga but ends up having immature leads. I’m on the same train sister! Sweat and Soap is a gem ❤🫡
Well I was like I can’t connect at all with you on the no spoilers on the theme of the story. I love going in knowing it will be dark and tragic lol than after saying that we connected so much on Secret XXX cause you are like the only person on the planet other than me that didn’t get it. I thought it was meh. 🫤 like 3 stars at best. I am not understanding the hype at all. 😂 don’t tell anyone
