I know you get that added function for a standing desk, and it was free, but in my opinion I prefer your old set up. The way it was previously and that L-shaped desk made it look far more cozier.

I'd love to go to MCM London Comic Con next year. Probably the October one as i've got a lot of figure pre-orders in the first half of the year to think about haha. The merch in artist's alleys there always looks so much nicer than the ones at my local con.

Only 2 small shelves for BL….yeah, my BL collection is definitely out of control - I had to get a brand new 3-shelves Billy bookcase for it, and I’m already running out of space. 😂

I’m super interested in Mobsters in Love too, but I haven’t picked up yet because I saw it’s only 3 volumes long so I’m waiting until the last volume is out to get the whole series. 😎 Nina the Starry Bride has been on my manga-to-get list for almost over a year now (when I heard the manga had an official release), and I plan to get it the soonest I can. 🤩🤩🤩 The Titan’s Bride is one of my absolute top favorite BL manhwas (and one of the few that’s not full-colored too) of the last few years - I’ve been collecting all the released volumes (5 so far) religiously. 🩷🩷 Under the Oak Tree imo is a shoujo manhwa masterpiece. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I found out an official release was coming out….I spent over 30€ to get that first volume, but it was worth it. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

I’ve read the first 2 volumes of Love Storm and Monster (I picked it up because it’s from the same author who did Cheeky Brat!, which I love), and while the first volume didn’t particularly strike me with the second one I started enjoying it….it’s no masterpiece, but it’s far from bad either. 👍

I love how you call that Forbidden Planet “small” - the comics shop where I get most of my mangas is like one tenth of it. 😄 I’m not an _Omni_ editions fan either, but I guess they can come in handy for someone who wants to read old series (like i.e. Red River or Fushigi Yuugi) that in the regular format have long gone out of print.

I love Kaiju no. 8. 🩷 I heard many good things about the series, but after watching clips and trailers of the anime a few months ago I finally decided to pick it up….and boy, I’m glad I did. The manga is absolutely awesome (I’m up to volume 11, but I already got vol. 12 and can’t wait to read it). 🔥🔥🩷

I love “The Other World’s Books… (etc.)”. 🩷 I first read it online and got hooked on it right from the first chapter….so my wallet was out the moment I saw an official edition was out. 🤩😄 I so want to pick up “Megumi & Tsugumi”, but english volumes are expensive in my country so I’ve been waiting to see if the Kindle or Kobo edition of the manga becomes available here (last time I checked it wasn’t).

A tip for assemble IKEA-like furniture: to avoid “losing” some screw, pin or the little wooden cylinders, open them in a bowl or a cup; this way you’ll have everything together and in one place - and you won’t panic looking around for that one screw that unseen got under you or rolled under the couch. 😄🥰 And by the way, can I hire your partner next time I need to build some IKEA piece? He looks better than a pro at doing it. 💪😄🥰🥰

I’ve never read Given either (not even volume 1). I’ve thought about reading it a few times, but every time I checked the summary it left me with not enough curiosity to read it. I too had started reading (online) “I want to be a receptionist in a magical world” and dropped it shortly after because the story became…flat. It was like reading a legal document.
