Hello guys and welcome back to another video . In today's video me and ‪@fishandchill.‬ are putting in some practice for fishing the competitions. Im on my local small pier using small fish baits. I didn't forget the bucket this time.

Earl it makes perfect sense to do practise. Don't forget to ALWAYS have a spare trace baited up ready. It's called 'double patting', i don't know why. Worms tipped with squid is what we do down here but that is a piece about the size of a whitebait!

Yeah i always have a spare rig ready to go mate even if im not comp fishing. I might have to give the next comp a miss . Not feeling the best but ill try

Well done earl i dont often match fish these days due to work commitments but i still fish in a match "style" 90% of the time , one rod , another trace baited up ready to go out and a bucket next to me. I find it a much more productive form of fishing which allows me to really focus on all aspects fishing i.e baiting up quailty presented baits and using the correct rigs for the area i fish.

Practice makes perfect rad video it looks cold out there I haven’t been out fishing since December too cold for me in northeast PA USA

No shame in practice, but 7.11 minutes in trying to stretch a fish to gain extra points 😯 that would be classed as cheating.

@@LauraRitson-l9b I wasent stretching it I was using my finger to alter the tail to see if the tip of the tail would reach 21cm. But like I said it wouldn't be up to just me it would be up to the person I'm fishing next to .
