@OneLove-Lokos appearance is the main thing honestly. But if your passes arent done in a proper order your overlapping and subsequently wasting materials.
Curious I see that you have videos of different countries and locations. Do you set this type of thing up before hand to shoot video or do you just show up and ask to film as you find them?
Hi, Thank you for your message. Nothing is planed. I just film them as I see them or if I know that they have plan to perform any project, like in this video. :-)
At 22:38 the guy puts his masking sheet down in the wrong place, out of sheer laziness apparently. After the line has been run, he picks up the sheet and you can see the mistake plain as day because the positioning line is exposed. So he puts the sheet down a second time, but still manages to get it wrong. Finally they leave with a notch in the arrow. If I were hiring these guys, I would make them go back and fix it at their own expense!

Give or take 30 mins. At least up in the PNW we like to give it about 30. But honestly you can probably drive on it within 15. Depends on how quick it cures
Shit work dude. I hate pointing out a fellas mistakes or shittin on his work. Those arrows wont last because when you make a pass the auto beader sits behind the die so beads must be hand casted on last like 8-10 inches. This guys throwing beads at end of pass but not blowing off before next pass. So basically puttin thermo over beads will cause premature failure of application. Rookie move bro rookie move.
Oh I love me some thermo baby!
Why was the music so chill at 17:00 ish😂
Road marking big Like 👍👍👍 i
Team road marking Malaysia 😊
What are you guys rolling on th e stencils before application ?
it makes the thermoplast come off the stencil easier
@@bradwilliamson9338 The question was “What is it?” not “What does it do?”, which is obvious.
Wd40 works
I think 12” die works better for arrows, 8” is perfect for stencils
We use 12" for straight and turn arrows but we run our passes in a different order. And after EVERY pass we blow beads off to insure a great bond.

06:10 & 27:08/28:00 Is that a UK style cone in the US?
I would move the LED beacon to the back so the two rear ones match and move strobe beacon near cab
Yup
how did you put the arrow down before u put thermo on it
Few night before the project a team from same company were there, checked and measured, then put those temporary arrows and other signs.

How long does it take for that stuff to be cured enough to drive on

what is the white liquid madw of you roll on stencils?
Some type of a mold release agent. Not sure exactly wht it is but wd40 does same thing.
And at 1:31 there’s already a crack in the paint.

But no leaf blower for all that glass but 12” better for arrows
Omg i just ranted like 5 x b4 i saw your post. Ya gotta blow beads off. Bad bond. Product failure.
These guys definitely need to be wearing masks, breathing the fumes from that thermo for too long will make you feel extremely sick
That's odd 17 years letting thermo roll everyday never made me sick
They actually need stencils! I’ve seen them doing it free hand in the UK and it looks a lot neater than this effort.
☝👏👏😎
Turn the music down
😎👍💪🇻🇪
What upsets me is nobody blowing beads off after end of pass!!!! You puttin thermo over loose beads bro. That shits not gonna bond like it should!!!!
Not to mention if you leave that shit in the road and a car drives over it they're going to loose all traction.
@@god1246 cars not too bad but bikes n pedestrian traffic def. Im a pro n ive busted my ass on beads...lol
