I've had a 2013 ZX 14 R for a year and a half, just did my first oil change, switched from 10-40 to 5-30 full synthetic and went out for a little test ride and I cranked it 3d, 4th gear, up to about 8000 RPMs and O M G it goes like KING KONG on steroids. It can pull the front wheel off the road going 110 😳

I have the same limited 09 . Mine stressed with dual Yoshimura. Cameras light kits. Crome ryms. She's a beast I have like 24000 on her don't get to ride it much. I hate it when people says nice busa. That makes me mad. Definitely got the power . I love my bike
Great bikes, never had anyone say it was a bussa, but just about everyone asked how fast it can go...I say at least 55... They don't seem happy with that answer though.
Badass bike my cousin has the same bike I have a GL1100 Cafe Racer my cousins zx14 makes my gl1100 look little lol my uncle has a kz1000 my dad has a gs750 my oldest son has a zx636
For an all out touring bike, my favorite? That's a difficult question, I will likely have to put a bit more thought in to. My touring bike right now is a BMW RT, but in a lot of ways the BMW R1200GSA was better. Between the two bike you listed ( I would consider both more sport touring bikes the ZX14 would be my choice I would also choose it over the larger VFR1200F which I prefer over the VFR800, to move in to a bit more comfort the concourse 14 is a great choice too
Looks like somebody put a coating of armorall on that seat. Looked really shinny. Would be a big reason why you are slipping around. Haven't had much of a problem slipping around on mine. Never really need a give it any gas when you puttering around in a parking lot. The crack think might happen because the mirrors take alot of effort to move in and out. If you just grab them on the end I can see this in time happening. Use both hands!

That took me a minute to figure out what you were referring to, the crack in the fairing was repaired with a plastic epoxy, with proper preparation is quite strong and stopped the crack from getting larger! Less expensive than replacement of the fairings and the crack was quite small! Thanks for checking out the video
