I just realized that this Dr. Bradford is the same one that they had help Lizzie Spaulding after she killed Carl Stevens. I know she shredded the first set, but it seemed like after they both said they weren't married anymore. Now they're saying they're still husband and wife. I'm lost here. So did they sign the papers or no?
They did not sign the papers. She shredded the first ones and he was going to have them drawn up again but when he had his accident she wanted to take care of him and then he decided to fight for her after the Drew revelation. They realized they were in love in decided to remain married.

If Rick was my brother and he did this to me I’d never forgive him.
I understand his intentions he just went about it the wrong way. He wanted her safe but locking her up was extreme.
He wanted to protect her he just took it to far.
He does all this to keep Danny out and then doesn't put Carmen on the no visit list?!

No, they never signed the annulment papers because the new ones weren't drawn up yet and they decided to make it work.
