DJ Ital began DJing in London's Sound Systems before playing Hardcore music on Weekend Rush in the early 90s. He was later recruited by local rival station Kool FM gaining residencies at Telepathy, Thunder & Joy and Jungle Mania. Kool FM's record label K Power released two of his tracks a year earlier in 1998: "Cosmik" and "Under Pin".
Skibadee would later join forces with DJ Ruffstuff, Funsta MC and Harry Shotta to form The UNCZ (The Uncontrolabelz) which was the precursor for the SaSaSaS. Also running rave nights "MC Convention" @The Rex (Stratford) with Shabba D under the name of 'Highly Blessed', MCs were drawing in crowds in the thousands.
Skibadee went on to achieve UK chart success and international recognition with his vocal version of "Twist Em Out" by Dillinja, in 2003. Things were growing from strength to strength. Skibadee was now touring the world. Check our Skibadee playlist: • MC SKIBADEE | AUTO TRA...
MC Riddla D was a grafter and his own man. He put in the hours on London pirate radio stations like Flight FM, Cyndicut FM and Ruud Awakening FM before moving to the dizzy heights and becoming part of the Kool FM Hit Squad, in 1999. He featured on all the big name events that year: One Nation @Stratford Rex, Best of British @Bagleys, Telepathy @The Temple, Desire @Bagleys, Heat & Jungle Fever @Astoria, Pure Science @Atomics, and many top raves that year. In later years he also featured at the MC Convention @Stratford Rex. Towards the late 2000s Riddla began his career as a Hip Hop artist working with UK and international artists and briefly returned to DNB since then.
Original Junglists have called for his return to the scene, but with the change in direction Drum & Bass took over the last ten years some MCs moved on whilst others that left like Evil B (B Live) returned and revived their career. All that being said Riddla goes down as a top MC in the Drum & Bass history books who did the rounds at all the prestigious DNB events in the early 2000s. We salute you MC Riddla D. Check out our channel for more recordings of him.

It is with great sadness to learn of Skibadee's passing. My condolences go out to his family and loved ones. This mix is testament to Skibadee's talent and influence, even in the early days of his career.
I will miss him greatly as a friend and colleague. RIP Skibadee 🎤💔💛💚
🙏🏾 DJ ITAL
We are deeply moved by your comment and we'd like to echo your words of condolences. We are sorry for your loss. Skiba, yourself and the Kool FM family built a respected legacy that the next generation will continue to champion. We're still in disbelief by the news. We lost a national treasure. RIP Skibadee 💔
Riddla 🔥🔥🔥. Probably the most underrated Jungle MC ever. Man was a true beast. Him with Foxy & Fatman was legendary combo. The Collabo

Amazing selection and pace from one of my favourite eras of DNB. Big up all the crew. RIP Skibba
Agreed bro! This set is mental! Ital's selection and mixing was top notch and the MCs go in like the pros. RIP Skiba! Riddla come back the scene needs you!
RIP Skibba. I can’t believe this.
Been listening to this man since about 1995. Had the pleasure of meeting him at Carnival one year too.
Gone but absolutely never ever ever forgotten.
I’ll be listening to you for the rest of my days.
RIP.
I had the pleasure of working with him many times between late 90s and 2000s and his talent, great energy and kindness always stood out. He was a charismatic pioneer of the Jungle and DNB movement, that shaped and influenced so many people's lives growing up in London and further afield. His music's cultural impact is socially and emotionally engrained in us. It part of me that you can't take away. Never forgotten and forever remembered. RIP Skiba!!
@@TakeMeBackPirateRadio I really appreciate the work you put into your channel mate. Thank you.
@@Dirty-Hertz You know weren't on the bandwagon ting, just real love for the music and when a sad moments like this hits us we all have to come together. Just a shame that the tunes weren’t a little bit clearer that night on Kool Fm but that’s just how it was some nights obviously!
Pulse was and still is such a special track!! The MCs were creme de le creme of the scene. This was DNB at it's best. Ital is heavy DJ.
