This is such a good chapter! I have been reading the New Testament for the first time as its ongoing currently and while reading John 4, I thought how good it sounded to hear the story regarding the woman at the well. Something I took and many other Christians as noted in your video, while we desire something special in life, the real thing we desire is a life with Christ and through that life it will brighten our life's and remove our focus on anything we desire. Also love the study bible! I find no matter the translation how powerful and impactful they are! highly recommend to anyone wanting to dive deeper into scripture.

Hi Sofia, one of the things that I notice in the 1st chapter of the gospel of John is when it states that light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. I see three examples of that in chapters 2, 3 & 4 as people process what they're hearing with their natural way of thinking. In Ch. 2, Jesus says, destroy this temple and darkness says, it took 46 years to build this temple...in Ch.3 Jesus says, ye must be born again, and darkness says, can a man enter a second time into his mother's womb?...in Ch.4 Jesus says, I would have given thee living water and darkness says, thou hast nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Praise God for giving us the eyes to see. Remember the blind man in John Ch.9? "Who is he Lord that I may believe in him?" You are "seeing" him. anyway, there's so much more.... keep feeding your spirit...for man shall not live by bread alone. :)
I also love reading my Bibles I have a world Bible school study edition Bible and a catholic life Bible and a children Bible as well and 2 kjv mini Bibles can I write in them with a regular pencil or a BIC Round Stic M pen 🖊 ❤God bless you and all your family
I just reflected and noticed that I wish I was more like Elijah...I want to claim that heaven's portals will grant fire to the altar I built...I just lust sternly for the radical motions of God. I don't care for the meek amusement an average disciple seeks, I want PILARS OF FIRE
@@TheSirRoc I got mine from eBay because I wanted a very specific one they don’t make anymore! It is called the Ryrie Study Bible. I believe they have newer ones available on Amazon. I would also recommend others I’ve seen which are the ESV study Bible from crossway and the MacArthur study Bible. Hope this helps. Thank you for viewing my video!

I’m going to tell you something pretty trivial girl. I subscribed to your channel after listening to your video “John 4 Bible Study.” Why? Here’s the trivial part: Because you kept using the expression “Y’all, or You All, etc. I am from Texas & I never can get used to people that come on RUclips ALWAYS saying “You guys.” It just plain bugs me. Even people I know are from the south will say “You guys” while on video. I watch a lot of old game shows & the like from the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s etc. Even real life people from NY City NEVER used to say “You guys.” It’s a phase that really started snowballing in the 80’s & 90’s. It first took root in the N.E. & the west coast (Hollywood.) My state of Texas has a million people moving here a year!!!!!!! I get culture shock in my own home state sometimes. “You all” is used in the bible, NOT “You guys.” So…Y’all have a blessed day now. Ye hear?😁
