@ggkill21 Japanese series often have themes for their names; some work better than others. Dragonball was a terrible offender, while Sailor Moon's family names were so-so. In MewMew, Ichigo is an actual name (meaning strawberry) and Mint is possible (though not Japanese), while Lettuce and Pudding are just ridiculous. (I don't know about Zakuro). I suspect purists complained about the "localized" Mew names anyways.
