Hey brother, hope you don't mind if I pin this so if anybody else feels the same way they can read my answer here. In short, don't fret, I got a lot of stuff I want to cover from movies, to literature, to games, to anime, to music; only that kind of video takes a lot longer between "research" (a.k.a. consuming tons of media to the point it becomes grating lmao) and just simply finding inspiration to say something that hasn't been repeated to death. These russian horror videos are a fun thing to make and they also take much less work, and I love sharing foreign media like this so people can get to know it; not to mention that it reaches many viewers and they seem to like it (the algorithm is wild honestly). As I said in the 4chan vid, this is not gonna be a channel focused on analog horror. It's just hard to get your foot in the door. Thank you for caring for the other stuff, I really appreciate it
I found you because of your video on post-soviet sadness, and since then I have watched all your videos and definitely enjoy all of the topics you choose
Dude, thank you so much for pointing out that people usually read latin with their own mother language pronunciation. It always bothers the hell out of me too and I always believed that if anyone used latin with the wrong pronunciation simply wouldn't work, I'm so glad it's not just me. Great video btw!
I am amazed by your pronunciation in Russian, it is almost perfect! I saw compliments on it and under the video about Magnitoshakhtinsk (when I first turned it on, I thought you were Russian who was recording videos about our local horrors for an English-speaking audience and only later I realized that you're not :D), but in this video you read out really big chunks of text and it turns out completely without an accent! Thank you for your videos, it is interesting to look at the local Russian horror media through the prism of a foreigner. I hope your channel gets popular, I like your presentation. Привет из России!
Unfortunetly its 8 years old and that could be more unlikely nowdays, but never say never. Who knows, maybe they made another project thats currently in the infinite ocean of youtube, waiting to be found?
I don't think you made mistakes about the old Russian gods in your last video, they were just a gap in your knowledge. Nothing wrong with not knowing something and it's not like to make claims about them that were untrue, you just said you didn't know what it meant. Love your work!
I'm so happy that I found this channel, and I hope you get way more subscribers soon! You show us amazing works of art that I would never find on my own due to the language barrier, and you have very thoughtful, insightful takes on it.
Super cool to hear you bring up updated information about the other video! I'm a huge fan of horror of all mediums, and love to learn about the inpirations and behind the scenes of horror! When youtubers mention inspirations of a piece of work that I end up liking, I'll usually go check it out and do some research of my own ^-^
Despite its goofiness, i like this video. Its like 8 years old and made by some student of VGIK or something else cinematography related. And after 8 years someone tells the story to basically all the world lmao.
10:50 I find this moment kind of funny in a dark way. Before this moment, everything seemed relatively normal, or, at the very least, comprehensible. And now, out of nowhere, there's a stain of blood that takes up a quarter of the damn matress with a book sticked to the top of it. To make the matters even more oddly funny, the book falls over. And the policemen casually go like "Ok, there are bloodstains under the matress". It really is a comedic horror
I adore your videos. U r a perfect narrator. Also I love your english. Cuz I'm russian but it's ma second language as well. And the stuff you're providing is also veeeery engaging. This one was like a fcking real footage cuz u know probably how police and neighbors in Russia are acting in such a situations. I liked a female neighbor's performance it was sooo convincing omg lol. We can do some dope analog horror fr but looking at the amount of viewers I feel kinda upset. There's nothing better than a good analog horror imo. Eway ty as always! 👌
I found your channel a few days ago and I jusr want to say thank you for making videos like these. As fucked as Russia is, it's contributions to the worlds of theater and film throughout history cannot be understated. I think it's important to have other Russian works, especially smaller stuff like analog horror, accessible to western audiences for us to be able to learn more.
"Why did you light candles" "for fun/a laugh" MHM. Definitly just out of context just to have fun and not to do a horrifying ritual that caused a death and will cause the death of more lol. Average day in Siberia 😅 jokes aside, the video was pretty good for a small anonymous project, the bloodstain on the bed slowly growing was pretty scary and the ending really makes you think if the main officer could have been saved if they cut the door faster, the key was out in the open or at the door so the officer could escape or if the other one was never cuffed and didnt got affected by the book and got posessed. The last scene which we can only see the legs of the poor officer struggling and getting dragged away with a blood trail when the door is almost cut open is also really heart wrecking. Really sad its an old anonymous project and if the creators were mentioned in the description of the video they could have gathered much more support and the video wouldnt get lost to time. Overall, a great project that probably costed them a door lel. Thanks for the translations again, looking foward to your next videos! Also... its really weird that the suspect and the neighbors just dissapeared without a trace, while the neighbors are more likely to have left the apartment, the fact that the keys being just hidden in the drawer signals that they might have not escaped the horror. And in my opinion the suspect most likely got 💀ed by the paranormal activity. The video is so short that not much is explained and it just dependent of the viewers look into the story and it could be anything and i feel like thats in purpose, a cliffhanger that leaves the viewer in wonder and curiosity which makes it more immersive.
Fun fact my defult accent when reading things in other languages is french (which I am not) so it has happened to me before were as I am reading another language I will do it in a french accent which makes it sound very funny and my friends often laugh about it lol
lol didnt notice it was you till i clicked on the video and the Д in the title was the only thing that made me realize it was 'MVD' and not 'MB[chair]'
I love analog horror/any horror so much, it is also my dream to go to Russia when I'm older, thank you so so much for this channel it is a perfect combo of two things I love, Russian culture and horror.
i hope you start making other content again rather than only making videos on russian anolog horror

Make other stuff if you wanna but I'm loving the Ruskki Analog Horror
"Traces of blood on the mattress". My guy, there's traces of MATTRESS on that BLOOD.

Imagine you are a cop and the last thing recorded is you screaming "СУКА" before firing bullets towards some demonic entity.
Even without speaking any Russian at all I can still hear the quality of the acting.
whoever made this short film should try making a longer feature sometime
they have potential
Unfortunetly its 8 years old and that could be more unlikely nowdays, but never say never. Who knows, maybe they made another project thats currently in the infinite ocean of youtube, waiting to be found?

That final scene is absolutely haunting, goddamn. Whoever made this is really talented

These videos are so high quality! Can’t wait for you to get more popular
Wanted to save this video for a day off, but when i got the news the algorithm didnt pick it up i knew i had to come and comment

Dude that ending was so good. it made me so paranoid while watching. I jump scared myself
I shall generate more traction so the algorithm will be more likely to push this wonderous thing out.

Ayyy dad is at it again, digging up the forbidden treats for us
A found footage 8 years ago?!?! no way
Found footage horror has been since the 90's lil fella
I would say the names that are said are angelic in nature. The connection to Hebrew or Aramaic is apt.
Jesus Christ how am I top comment on that last vid I never even noticed until that comment reel at the beginning 💀

lol yea dude reading Latin with Russian accent on top of some random Hebrew Adonai being Lord…..wild mix
Commenting so the Golden Algorithm shines it's favour down on our boy
I got sudden tinnitus at 8:43, thanks for cursing me I guess.

Ymasday may be just a local meme, it sounds kinda like маздай, 2000s internet buzzword deriving from the English "must die"

i dunno what to say but i know the algorithm likes it
I have a crush on you
I have a crush on YOU 😱
Dude really watched this video!

МОЙ ЛЮБИМЫЙ РУССКИЙ АНАЛОГ ХОРРОР УРААА
BTW the candles is showing morse code
People generally speak every language with the accent of their mother language. Including English.
А ты точно не русский? Русские слова произносишь как сказал был русский, прям English Nikita2504, что сказать
10:30 I can’t tell if you’re making some weird misogynistic joke or what?.. what does gender have to do with anything? Lol
Is that a personal attack or something?
