For like 2-3 of those years, none of his stats really translated to roles on other teams (guys like Christian Wood went from leading scorers on the Rockets to bench guys for the Mavs). Then the last year or so (I forget if the Rockets were a horrible team or not but at the very least they weren't horrendously bad) his 3 point shooting numbers became legit. I forget what his defense was like but at the very least he wasn't abysmal. And those are the sort of thing that are easy to translate to contenders.

The Clippers have now become Lock 🔐 City for all the defense they added especially with Kris Dunn he's about to really turn some heads next season and beyond as a defensive weapon slasher and dependable playmaker on offense
I hope Nic Batum plays more than 20 mins, his stats and efficiency when he plays above 20 mins vs below it is night and day, most of his bad games last time with the clips are when he played under 20 minutes.

Batums high IQ and passing will feed the masses. Bamba is a much better upgrade over plum/theis - no athleticism/height killed the bench unit. The growth of Kai Jones is super underrated. I like the addition of demar - consistent scorer n passer (ty spurs) lavine would be fun tho… if clips lineup consists of DJJ/Bridges/KPJ/Jones we could be looking at Lob City 2.0 🤞🏽 also love the christie pick, 6’6 wing who can shoot the sht out the ball AND can attack closeouts 🙏🏽 post podcast p era, LFG
