That was basically Laplus' entire character arc on her 2nd anniversary livestream. She has always expressed self-doubt about what it means to be an idol working at hololive, worried that she doesn't fit with everyone else. All the hate she received in 2022 didn't help any matters. I can feel that project was truly personal for her and I'm happy she's more comfortable now with who she is. She may not look the part most of the time but Lapsama is a genuine idol through and through.
@@H4444-f7g That's a relief. I mean she's got that niece you like to tease energy, you know what I mean? The kind that if someone bullied her, you'd find out the guy's address and pull up with baseball bat
@ramli Long story short: A few mistakes she made received a lot of backlash and harassment by Japanese antis who erroneously thought she doesn't care about hololive because her old identity is still active sometimes despite the fact that many other members do the exact same. She didn't deserve any of it, especially death threats, and her mental health took quite a blow because of how young she really is, which along with burnout is why she went on a long hiatus and came back on February apologizing for everything, explaining her situation and going as far as forgiving the antis despite not doing anything wrong enough to justify their actions. How could anyone hate someone as kind, hard working and compassionate as her? I genuinely admire and respect her a lot after what she went through and seeing how forgiving she really is. Thankfully she's much happier and motivated to stream nowadays, especially since she started to focus more on her Twitch channel. Most of the antis are seemingly gone (or at least much less present) and things have calmed down for the most part.
It's heartwarming to see how many new friends Laplus keeps making on events like these. Some of them are actually really big in Japan if I'm not mistaken.
It's really interesting how she does it too, she uses the kusogaki bits as icebreaker to get the conversation rolling but she otherwise comes across as a sweet girl that's easy to get along with.
@@SethAbercromby it's quite easy, the japanese streamers are more connected to each other more than the public knows. If you play games like Valo, Apex and LoL, it becomes easier. First you play with some VSPo Girls and they naturally play with other indie or big streamers so you start playing together then it just branches out quickly before you know it. 😂
Lap-sama's laugh is truly one of kind, it's priceless xD So wholesome to see this collab, Lap-sama must be really happy that she's making so many cute mistakes

Oh, yeah. NIRU and La+ have played a lot last December (and probably before that) as well. They also played a lot with Uyu from Stars back then. I remember an almost 30mins (give or take) clip of them talking about XMas where NIRU was teasing La+ and Uyu about how he enjoyed his vacation with his friends, while La+ just got drunk and Uyu just slept all day. lol.
I wish she archived her GTA livestreams, they were a lot of fun and have been forever deleted by Twitch ;_; That's literally the only reason why I would prefer her to either return to RUclips or multistream.
@@Berkebun_ I know, what I meant is having Laplus herself actually archive her content instead of relying only on her videos. Don't get me wrong, they're a lot of fun but having the original stream available should always be an option.
@@Berkebun_ She could always open a second RUclips channel. Many other members have it.
