    I would like to express my appreciation to everyone who took care of me during my stay here at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for my gamma knife perfexion surgery on Sept. 1. I'm feeling so much better now the tumors in my head are gone. God bless all of you :)

    I’d think gamma ray ablation is a better terminology than gamma ray knife since the radiation ‘burns’ the lesions rather than ‘cut’ the lesion. As an example for cardiac ablation, we ‘burn’ the abnormal tissue to fix the cardiac electrical system, not ‘cutting’.
