Really enjoyed your Lidl’s blog Chloe, i normally shop in Aldi, but now you have showed me the different things in Lidl’s i will defo go there. Your blog was a help to me and I expect others, I am a great-Nan of 72 and lost my partner 2 years ago, so cooking most of the time for one becomes boarding and although I still try and follow slimming world ( as otherwise I would sit and binge) it’s lovely getting inspiration from your blogs, and then I pass on to my family. You seem such a down to earth person which is lovely, I’ve told my two granddaughters to follow you as they are 18 and 27 and love applying makeup like yourself, your a credit to your family. Yes same here, I don’t really need to diet I just want to eat healthier, and my husband has just gone back to work after 7 years of retirement, I’m looking for healthy options for his lunches, I really have found your videos very useful… thank you.😊

Chloe hope you can help. Why are the packets of microwaveable rice syned but yet rice is supposed to be free? I am new to slimming world and sometimes it just confuses me.😕
All the best of luck to you all in your determination to lose weight. Please do try not to get hung-up on 'syns' though and feel guilty if you happen to go over the limit. It is a meaningless term not based on any kind of logic such as calorie content and SW have been known to arbitrarily change the syn value of a food, such as Muller Light yogurt.

Hi lovely, it'll be because there will be oil in the packet rice to keep them fresh - so that's why there's syns. Hope that makes sense xxx
