I dont think you guys understand how amazing these things look! I almost took a bite out of my phone watching this! I'd need more than 2 little pieces of bacon tho..
Some of the best burgers I ever ate were when I was stationed in Korea while in the Army. Korean street food in general was always so amazing, lovely culture!
Not really. Very elitist society, look down on other people and cultures, actively rip off foreigners out of contempt. We should nuke the entire colony from orbit. After we steal their burgers...
I love an American style burger. There are more gourmet places popping up in Australia that make American style burgers but the mainstay here is the Australian style burger with 'the lot' (egg, onion, cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce and often beetroot!)
I was in Aus for almost a year. Got off the plane starving and found a Burger King in the airport. They asked me if I wanted “the lot” and I said of course I did. I was incredibly disappointed that beetroot was involved, but I did bring a fried egg to the mix back in Canada when I do my burgers. That’s a stroke of genius. I often miss a kangaroo steak with a cold Toohey’s. Good times.
I wouldn't doubt for a second that these are far superior to typical American hamburgers. Koreans, and asians in general, just seem to put more effort and quality into their food.
Next time you should use and even more sensitive mic, and boost it up with a much more powerful amp, on full gain. And place the mic literally inside the food as it's being prepared.
In most all these Asian videos where they cook American style Hamburgers mostly they cook a form of a meatloaf style burger but this video actually shows a place cooking a true Hamburger, so good to see you can still get it done right! The onion burger was made popular in Oklahoma but now most everywhere is doing some form of a smashburger like this video either with or without onions like shown here.
I actually like how the meat patties are more thin and slightly crispy/chewy. I don't like American double cheeseburgers (i.e. In&Out) because it's too much meat and hard to eat. These burgers do a great job at the ratio of all the veggies, bun, and meat. Looks so good.
That's one of the few "American Style" things I"ve seen that's actually pretty close to how things are done over here. Usually I watch these sorts of videos to see misconceptions and made up "American" stuff, but this is pretty spot-on. Smashing the onions into the patties during the frying process isn't standard, but it still passes with full marks.
@@ribbkage exactly, i think its a thing invented during the great depression. Onions are cheaper than beef when capitalism has a stroke, as it tends to do.
👌🏾 Using the render fron the off cut pork fat to toast the buns. 👌🏾Deeply satisfying to see the finer and often hidden (personal) hacks of the food preparer to go above and beyond just the regular way of stacking the cheese slices that way. 👌🏾 Just the insane depths of tastes and flavor brought by the sauces bring to the food.
i wanna try them in harlem and ohio, CA is overated it all taste like in and out but better, LV has good burgers if you pay over 45 bucks and order something not regular or with a wierd name that makes you uncomfortable, AZ had good burgers like cali but without speacial sauces and loaded fries
Someone’s gotta tell the rest of the world that just because it’s called American cheese doesn’t mean it’s the standard for everything. Cheddar is better and used at almost every burger place except McDonald’s
As a born and raised American everything looked great, but the one crucial element missed was seasoning the French fries. Just a little salt and pepper will take them to the next level. Other than that everything looked spot on.
Great for family event, and versatile. Tough to clean, will require elbow sweat to clean but a great addition. Don’t even have to be a massive one either.
Most if not all, maybe outside of a michelin level place. No shop or vendor in america is using meat of that quality because it costs actual money instead of the shit they shovel at us that costs 1$ a pound for the restaurant. Love it until they squish the burgers. You don’t squish a burger as it lets the juices run out but to get a even cook and to cover it up with onions I guess is another way.
Other than those fries at the end not getting any salt, this all looks super delicious and the bacon actually got cooked through enough. Most of these korean street food videos i see really undercook the bacon.
Wow those burgers are spot on also that sauce is amazing I do something similar but throw some relish in there as well. Fry's are an afterthought if you want Americo you do fresh cut frys in peanut oil and do beer battered onion rings and mushrooms with some panko.
