My first ever high end palette I bought a few months ago was the Semi Sweet and I'm still obsessed with it. It is by far my favourite and I really don't understand the hype around the first one. The colour selection doesn't speak to me at all. It's funny because I bought the Semi Sweet based on the shimmers but my favourite part of it is actually the mattes, and my obsession for Cocoa Chilli knows no bounds. Mostly, that black was absolutely necessary. I am a total everyday smokey girl. I need Liquorice and Cocoa Chilli for everyday.
I know right. It doesn't suffice to just look at it because at first glance it looks so boring, but it makes the most versatile palette I have because it can go from soft to full glam smokey real quick which is the best.
I recommend the semi-sweet mostly because you can go from natural to extremely smokey with one colour, which for me is a necessity, but I don't have the Tartelette In Bloom so I don't know about that one!
I loved both those videos because I can never get which colours suit me and your videos are really educating!! Even tho these palettes aren't available where I'm from I still get a lot of info about the colours!
I have to notice that you are very smart and original with your youtube videos.It is informative,it is current but not only about ´"at the moment" products. The way you pick the subjects and questions that you answer are on point.
My boyfriend gave me the original one and there's no other palette like it!! It's soooo good. The color selection is perfect and so many looks can be made with it. They're also sooo smooth. One of the best palettes I own.
Original Chocolate Bar has a good balance of warm and cool toned neutrals. Semi-sweet has mostly warm toned neutrals and Bon Bon is mostly cool toned neutrals.
Ikr in my case I own the original chocolate bar and i'll also buy the bon bons because I have a very fair skin tone and that pallete has more cool tones.

i got a dupe for the semi sweet and one for the chocolat original and i found my self in love with the first worm colors and smooky looks even natural with almost all the kylie jenner palette colors in it too so i bought the too faced semi sweet palette and i dont regret it its my perfect one
When the Chocolate bon bons palette came out I obsessed over it for months before my husband finally told me to get it. I have never done that with any other palette. I bought it and I love it. It is one of my favorite eye shadow palettes that I own. Also I was just wondering if you could possibly do a makeup look using the bon bons palette? Like an everyday makeup look and then a more glam type of makeup look?
I stopped reaching for any other palette once I got the original Chocolate Bar. I'm thinking about Bon Bons now tho...those little hearts are just too adorable and I LOVE that Earl Grey!

I am relaxing atm while watching this video. I was thinking to find & buy a neutral warm tone high end palette that I could use daily as well as for special occasions like dinner 🍽, birthday parties 🎉🎈or weddings as I don't have one at all. I just realised it when I did my make up on the weekend to attend a friend's wedding and I only have neutral nude eye shadow colours. I didn't know what brand or palette that I should buy, now I just watched this review, I ❤️ the Too Faced Chocolate & the Chocolate Bon Bon one too. I was attracted to the packaging on the bon bons palette when I was shopping around for a too faced eyeshadow palette. I actually loooove my bon bons palette but I would love the original chocolate bar! oh, and the sweet peach palette too!
As Told By Alyssa you really need the original Chocolate Bar. I was neutral about it till I got it, and now it's my most reaches for palette. You won't regret getting it.

the only one I have is the semi-sweet palette and I really enjoy it! I love warm, orangey shades so I use "peanut butter" on a near-daily basis. I am thinking about buying the PB&J palette but I wouldn't use the orange and purple tones together.

The weirdest thing happened. I bought the chocolate Bon Bons palette back in March and it was the only thing I used for months. I loved it so much and was obsessed. In August, I started using some other new stuff, and this past week I went back to the Bon Bons palette. And.. the quality is not as good as I remember it being! Nothing was very pigmented and I just got frustrated. Perhaps I'm just too into my fall colors and I'll love it again in the spring. I hope so!
I have the original and the bon bon. I reach for the original pretty much daily because salted caramel is my favorite transition color ever and marzipan is my quick all over the lid when I'm in a hurry. I pick the bon bon over the semi sweet and I was surprised on how much I love it! This is such a versatile palette!!I actually prefer to take this one when I travel. I have the original and it's been a while since I've reach for it but don't get it twisted--it's still a good everyday for any occasion Palette! This was really informative! I've been thinking about getting either the Chocolate Bar or the Chocolate Bon Bons palette. The Bon Bons palette's packaging is so cute! I look pink and girly packaging, but I do think the Chocolate Bar is more useful in my life.

I just got into the Too Faced products (I was really all about Urban Decay for a while), and so I just picked up the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette! :) I really love the shade Peanut Butter in the semi palette, so what I'm going to do is get the Peanut Butter & Jelly palette because it obviously has Peanut Butter in it and Jelly is a bright pretty purple, which I adoreeee. ♥️
I did own the chocolate bar but I just found there wasn't a lot of pigment payoff with my NC42 medium to tan complexion, so I took it back. I own the ABH Renaissance and Mario palettes and absolutely love them 👍🏽😀🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫
Too faced has the cutest packaging ever! I love how the packaging on all 3 seems really durable compared to other brands palettes. I've been wanting the chocolate bar original palette for so long but have yet to purchase it! Awesome video Serein!! Really enjoyed it. I want them all. lol. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I went HAM recently on palettes ... modern renaissance, Mario and Hrush ... so chocolate bar(s) will join my lengthy list of wants. I do have the Too Faced Natural Matte (LOVE) so I have no doubt the bars are great. Enjoyed the video a lot!!
Its a great palette. The shadows are extremely pigmented, so they require quite a bit of blending. I think a good beginners palette would be the Too Faced Natural Eyes or the original chocolate bar, but the Modern Renaissance palette is great if you are willing to blend out or have higher quality brushes.
What's crazy is I was in ULTA the other day on a shopping spree, thanks to my fiance, and I stood and looked at all three chocolate bars for two hours contemplating on which one I wanted. I couldn't get all three, or even two of them, but I could not decide which one I wanted the most lol. I sent my fiance a pic, and asked him which one I should get, and he said he liked the "Bon Bon" the best. I loved that one too, but I was leaning more towards the original chocolate bar than anything. I finally decided to buy the original chocolate bar, and I picked up the package 3 different times to try and go buy it..BUT, I chose another pallete instead. I bought the Alice Through the looking glass limited edition palette by Urban Decay 😍😍 I wondered around in ULTA for hours ALMOST buying the original chocolate bar, but got the Alice through the looking glass instead and let me tell you, its the most BEAUTIFUL palette I have ever seen! I'm so glad of my decision. have you seen it Serein? Its absolutely gorgeous. I also bought urban decay naked foundation in 06 and couldn't be happier. I will go buy the original chocolate bar next. lol. I'm not too fond of the semi sweet chocolate bar, but the original an bon bon I adore. loved your video as always. 💓

My favorite is the chocolate bar. I'm currently obsessed with "hot chocolate" and it's great to blend together. I love the chocolate bin bon bc of the wide range of colors, I like the semi sweet cause of the beautiful mattes, and I like the white chocolate and pub and j bc of the cool colors

I bought the chocolate bar palette a few months ago. I love it except I was disappointed by the top left shade it leans more brown and I thought it was going to be an olive.
Vanessa Thammarath Ive olive tone skin. The gold reflects is what is pulling the brown/golden tone. A trick I've seen done, forgive me I forget the brand I'm in Fibro Fog, it's a chunky white pencil use is then add the color. The sage will come through more, but keep in mind there is gold reflects in it. The first time I wore it I kept looking in mirror 🤔 thinking, whaaaa???? But I watch a few ppl pick up ideas. But Serein is the only one I actually keep a notebook that has Serein said yes & why and Serein said 🚫 and why. I've gained so much knowledge from her as far as chemicals as so on. Because this is our face, what goes on my lips ends up in my mouth. Think about it! We all don't & wont see eye to eye, but information I can use is priceless. I hope this helped! Blessings
Hooray for someone FINALLY not calling the semi sweet a pure warm palette! =) It always confuses me for a second how everyone loves the OG more than the semi sweet :D but then I just take a moment and look at the shades... I personally love all the mattes in the semi sweet and I feel like I could easily duplicate any look from the OG chocolate bar with the palettes I already have =D (except for candied violet) I'm gonna swatch them in store again but I think I'm going to go for the semi sweet =) and maybe get the OG some time later

This was really informative! I've been thinking about getting either the Chocolate Bar or the Chocolate Bon Bons palette. The Bon Bons palette's packaging is so cute! I look pink and girly packaging, but I do think the Chocolate Bar is more useful in my life.

Great video, doll! I just got into the Too Faced products (I was really all about Urban Decay for a while), and so I just picked up the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette! :) I really love the shade Peanut Butter in the semi palette, so what I'm going to do is get the Peanut Butter & Jelly palette because it obviously has Peanut Butter in it and Jelly is a bright pretty purple, which I adoreeee. ♥️
I did own the chocolate bar but I just found there wasn't a lot of pigment payoff with my NC42 medium to tan complexion, so I took it back. I own the ABH Renaissance and Mario palettes and absolutely love them 👍🏽😀🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫

Too faced has the cutest packaging ever! I love how the packaging on all 3 seems really durable compared to other brands palettes. I've been wanting the chocolate bar original palette for so long but have yet to purchase it! Awesome video Serein!! Really enjoyed it. I want them all. lol. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I went HAM recently on palettes ... modern renaissance, Mario and Hrush ... so chocolate bar(s) will join my lengthy list of wants. I do have the Too Faced Natural Matte (LOVE) so I have no doubt the bars are great. Enjoyed the video a lot!!

Belmar841 would you recommend modern renaissance for people who are beginning with eyeshadows?
Its a great palette. The shadows are extremely pigmented, so they require quite a bit of blending. I think a good beginners palette would be the Too Faced Natural Eyes or the original chocolate bar, but the Modern Renaissance palette is great if you are willing to blend out or have higher quality brushes.

What's crazy is I was in ULTA the other day on a shopping spree, thanks to my fiance, and I stood and looked at all three chocolate bars for two hours contemplating on which one I wanted. I couldn't get all three, or even two of them, but I could not decide which one I wanted the most lol. I sent my fiance a pic, and asked him which one I should get, and he said he liked the "Bon Bon" the best. I loved that one too, but I was leaning more towards the original chocolate bar than anything. I finally decided to buy the original chocolate bar, and I picked up the package 3 different times to try and go buy it..BUT, I chose another pallete instead. I bought the Alice Through the looking glass limited edition palette by Urban Decay 😍😍 I wondered around in ULTA for hours ALMOST buying the original chocolate bar, but got the Alice through the looking glass instead and let me tell you, its the most BEAUTIFUL palette I have ever seen! I'm so glad of my decision. have you seen it Serein? Its absolutely gorgeous. I also bought urban decay naked foundation in 06 and couldn't be happier. I will go buy the original chocolate bar next. lol. I'm not too fond of the semi sweet chocolate bar, but the original an bon bon I adore. loved your video as always. 💓
I've got all 3 and haven't used any lol but not only do they smell like chocolate,THEY REALLY TASTE LIJE CHOCOLATE!! I WAS TRYING ON A COLOR AND ACCIDENTALLY IT HAD SOME FALLOUT ON MY LIPS😅 I WAS LIKE OH CRAP!! TASTES LIKE REAL 🍫 LOVE ALL 3!!

My favorite is the chocolate bar. I'm currently obsessed with "hot chocolate" and it's great to blend together. I love the chocolate bin bon bc of the wide range of colors, I like the semi sweet cause of the beautiful mattes, and I like the white chocolate and pub and j bc of the cool colors

I bought the chocolate bar palette a few months ago. I love it except I was disappointed by the top left shade it leans more brown and I thought it was going to be an olive.
Vanessa Thammarath Ive olive tone skin. The gold reflects is what is pulling the brown/golden tone. A trick I've seen done, forgive me I forget the brand I'm in Fibro Fog, it's a chunky white pencil use is then add the color. The sage will come through more, but keep in mind there is gold reflects in it. The first time I wore it I kept looking in mirror 🤔 thinking, whaaaa???? But I watch a few ppl pick up ideas. But Serein is the only one I actually keep a notebook that has Serein said yes & why and Serein said 🚫 and why. I've gained so much knowledge from her as far as chemicals as so on. Because this is our face, what goes on my lips ends up in my mouth. Think about it! We all don't & wont see eye to eye, but information I can use is priceless. I hope this helped! Blessings

It always confuses me for a second how everyone loves the OG more than the semi sweet :D but then I just take a moment and look at the shades... I personally love all the mattes in the semi sweet and I feel like I could easily duplicate any look from the OG chocolate bar with the palettes I already have =D (except for candied violet) I'm gonna swatch them in store again but I think I'm going to go for the semi sweet =) and maybe get the OG some time later
