Really great guide! Siquijor is one of my top favourite islands. You definitely missed a few jems though. The butterfly sanctuary then the route to the View points and through mountains. Also the lookout in Larena is awesome for sunset
I definitely recommened staying in Larena not only you can get the whole beach like a private beach but also a good spot in catching sunset. Also the Triad restaurant in Larena is breathtaking. For me Larena is the best town to visit in siquijor not too crowded and very accessible
Try our public paradise bay somewhere near kawayan holiday resort..in brgy. cangmunag.(san juan siquijor) ..alot of high cliff diving spot..and at the same time our protected marine sanctuary..
I have been to Siquijor for a daytrip and I admit, I realized it wasn’t enough. Foreigners who visit the first time will always commit a mistake of thinking that the Philippines is such a very small country that we can visit most spots quickly.

#2 Tubod Marine Sanctuary ? It easily beats overcrowded and average Cambugahay Falls, which looks now like a 'aquapark' visited by lots of screaming and shouting tourists, who seem to jump to water for the very first time. If not that fact, place would be amazing for relax.

Could you suggest a few towns in southern Leyte that would be comparable to Anda in Bohol. I'm planning an upcoming trip to the area and Anda is just the sort of town we enjoy. Thank you,
Nothing is really exactly the same, but I would recommend staying in Liloan. I think it's a perfect spot right in the middle of possibly the most beautiful area in Southern Leyte with a lot to do in the area. On the other side I would probably recommend Padre Burgos. Though like I said neither are exactly the same as Anda but both are great beach towns that are very close to other tourist attractions
@@WeWander thanks. I agree, one of the great things about traveling is that no two places are the same. We just prefer to stay away from the more crowded party type areas. We enjoy the more sleepy little beach community vibe similar to Anda. Thanks again lookong forward to seeing you back in the Philippines.
@@stephenr2195 You really dont need to worry to much for anywhere in Southern Leyte then. Nothing is overcrowded at all, but I for sure recommend Liloan! We will be making a full in depth guide to Southern Leyte in the new couple of weeks that will help you out a lot, so keep your eyes open for that!

Be careful. Lady Lee might see this and it will ruin the surprise! 😄 It’s been a while since we were in Alona so we don’t know how it is now after the typhoon since they got hit badly as well. I’m sure it is still beautiful. You might wanna check out our Bohol vlogs and see what suits your preference. I recommend adding a few extra activities on your list so if some of them end up not working out, you still have other things planned. Hope it goes well and enjoy your time in Ph with Lady Lee ❤️

This is indeed one of the best island in the Philippines. But the new port is such an eye sore. SIQUIJOR should stop trying to be like Dumaguete. KEEP SIQUIJOR like Siquijor. Keep PARADISE like Paradise. So many STUPID CONSTRUCTION WORK IS DESTROYING THE ISLAND.
The Salagdoong Beach, no need to spend too much time on that little beach resort. Siquijor is best on motorbikes. I hope it won't get too many random resorts and it doesn't evolve to become just another shitty urban poor town like most cities in the Philippines. It is one of the best islands.

There are water shoes at Philippine malls. I assume you are passing by Cebu before heading to Siquijor? Go to Ayala mals or SM malls. They have it.
