This- specifically the stripped-down version- will always be one of my fave KC tracks. She sounds INCREDIBLE here and I love that she has people around her from the very beginning and she constantly thanks them publicly for helping her be who she is.
The way she treats her team shows how great, human and simple she is. Great woman, singer, mother.

I saw her last 8/2 for the first time. Her voice was impeccable. Not to forget all her beautiful wardrobe at the concert. She looked fabulous!
Has always been one of my favorites. For sure Brandon is her beautiful disaster. She is singing these songs for us because she knows we love them even when it isn't easy for her to do it

The striped down version shows what a mic..a piano...and a purely talented voice can do. The best of what she does is no theatrics..Pure ass talent.. 11 concerts live..I know my shit.

Do you have a video of "Miss Independent" from 8/5? I love the surprise sustained F#5 she had at the end of verse 2. It was such a treat to have two amazing sustained F#5s in that one song that night. 😍
