build engine interpolation is ass, especially at close range. Some numbers get distorted in the rendering process and you get blown up. In Doom it's walls; anything with clipping has a Velcro tentacle attack. In Build it's hitboxes. What can ya do
I mean yeah that is true the build engine is an old engine so you kind of have to play it the jinx with the build engine yeah it does make sense what you're saying you're right
Yeah lemme check. 1. Bloody Pulp Fiction E1M13 Within the Woods 2. Trauma Therapy - E2M7 Falling Down (18:49 3. Bloodlines: Out of the Grave - Elkwood Museum (7:22) 4. Willard - Swamp of the Dead (4:40)
Ha, I didn’t know it was referenced in all those mods! In my case I didn’t try to copy it, but the exterior of the cabin is certainly influenced by and a reference to Evil Dead.
3:41 Missed rare opportunity to blast that infamous Napalm alt-fire... Last time I really used it was in Death Wish Episode 3 with a one of biggest zombie hordes ever rising up under some voodoo flying stuff.
I rarely watch any mods for Blood, but Willard certainly deserves attention! I'm a long-lasting fan of vanilla Blood, but it lacks in one aspect which would've been awesome - it wasn't that creepy as it could be. Willard takes Blood to a creepy dimension, and it looks awesome! So far this mod is the best I've ever seen for Blood. Also love there're possible references in this level - Dawn of the Dead, Pet Sematary and so on
Fleshed Out, French Meat, Eviction, Bloodlines, Trauma Therapy, and Bloody Pulp Fiction all have moments and/or nuances of really, really effective horror. I haven't yet seen anything in Willard on quite that level, but it _is_ getting there.
@@doom0666 I am talking about creepiness only, not the overall layout of add-ons or mods. I don't say uppermentioned mods are bad - I just state Willard is the best CREEPY one
@@AlexanderSilvarg the groundwork is there, but it needs a lot of polish before I would call it creepy or even unsettling. Maybe it speaks to you on a personal level, but to me it's more like "DUSK from Wish", ya feel?
0:19 - How many times i told you, Caleb, DO NOT THROW THOSE TNT PACKS UNDER YOUR FEET!
So TRUUUUUE

Also when the build engine you can get squished by doors love that feature LOL
That Knowby cabin has appeared in Blood mods like, 4 times now?
Yeah lemme check.

well, this one doesn't look like a direct reference

It's ends up always feeling underwhelming for me. I actually did it when I pre-played the level, all to find dissappointment
@@pagb666i still make a point of using it just for that fun "beach ball" sound
Who keeps burying all these dead people with axes? ...Must be the Cabal

There's a lot of good Custom campaigns for Blood. Waiting patiently on Deathwish v2.0 with maps being different and a huge overhaul on existing maps

Just out of curiosity, what kind of polish do you wish for?
Willard Old Cemetery

Kimble?! Like in Bloodlines?
Macabre map but good run
Trump-zombie edition - totally orange!
