    I hate how there are so many steps just to place a stencil on this stuff, especially for the price 🤦🏽‍♀️ Their website says to do everything you just showed, place stencil for 20 min, then remove and wait another 20 min before tattooing.

      Without this stuff, myself and many others wouldnt of come as far as we have. Its a great tool for understanding depth, handspeed/voltage and many other things. Making the stencil stick is just a small learning curve but once you figure it out the pay off is huge. Just try n be patient you will figure it out. Then you will be tattooing in no time

      I don't see why not, just make sure you wipe off all the excess. I would use deodorant tho (its the alcohol that release the dye) ..idk why but it works waaaay better than any stencil gels or lotions....

    Can you do a tutorial of you own tatto stuff recipe?? It could save me tons of money. I tattoo on leather and it needs a lot kf tattoo stuff for the stencil to even stay a bit

    • @cappn_ronaldo
      @cappn_ronaldo  2 месяца назад

      Use deodorant and let the stencil dry for like 12 hours

  • @thatmombielife

    Legit. No other tutorials said wash it down good prior. I tried alcohol.. nothing stuck till I scrubbed it and powdered it. Thank you for putting this out there. Made a HUGE difference

      Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to watch it. I read it somewhere. I believe on the ReelSkin UK website. Wich is where I order it from now cuz they sell the 1KG bundles. If you use a Lotion based product like Stencil stuff or Electrum Gold it comes out a little cleaner. I just use my homemade stuff to save a little money

    Ive tried every stecil solution except anchor and dettol and my inkjet stencil ink doesnt seem to want to do clean lines on reelskin, the cheap skin it does it not problem. Ive tried everything you saod with baby powder, with out, cleaning like you did and also clean after for alcohol and nothing seems to work

    • @cappn_ronaldo
      @cappn_ronaldo  2 года назад

      I’ve got ZERO experience with inkjet stencils, there’s a RUclipsr: MALAN just search (Malan tattoo). You can try and ask him, I know he uses an inkjet and he’s pretty good about responding to comments.

      I can't get it to work either and I just trace my stencils. Tried cleaning, scrubbing with detergent, isopropanol alcohol and still nothing helps. I use Dettol for my stencils and it works fine on cheap fake skin and actual skin. This realskin is crap.

    • @cappn_ronaldo
      @cappn_ronaldo  Год назад +1

      You need to use dish soap, thats gonna dissolve the OILS off the reelskin. and HOT HOT water and scrub it with the scratchy side of a sponge. Then sprinkle some baby powder on your hand and lather just a little bit on the skin....just enough to dry up the water thats on it. And try some speed stick If your dettol isnt working. In my experience a thicker sort of transfer solution works best. And i only use the cheap blue transfer paper for real skin. Once you get your stencil down you wanna push down on it. Alcohol is was releases the dye from the paper onto the skin. And remember if tattooing was easy everybody would be doing it.....dont give up my friend

      @@cappn_ronaldo I contacted my realskin suppler who told me to use sandpaper to rough it up after washing it in detergent. This helped quite a lot as well as using Green Card stencil stick.

    Hi, I have a cannon ink jet stencil printer and I can't get the stencil to stop warping and creasing when applied to the reel skin. As soon as the stencil paper gets damp it moves kinda like a sticker when you get air bubbles after laying it down on something. Any advice dude?

    • @cappn_ronaldo
      @cappn_ronaldo  Год назад

      Hmmmm.....maybe less transfer solution and try putting down one corner and just letting it fall. Then take a something flat and just set it on top of it for awhile.

    • @cappn_ronaldo

      Lets the solution get a little tacky/sticky so its not so slippery

    Honest question... How come you make your own stencil transfer solution with melted speed stick instead of only using speed stick?

    • @cappn_ronaldo
      @cappn_ronaldo  Год назад

      Just cuz i like to experiment and try new things. I found the recipe in a book i have. I only used it for fake skins just because it worked better than anything i had at the time like stencil stuff or
      electrum. I only use proton nowadays for clients and practice.

      You really just wanna get that oily susbtance off it. Also blue stencil paper (blue cridoz) seems to work better or its at least darker and easier to see. Lemme know if you have any troubles 🤟💯

  • @underground4012
    @underground4012 Год назад

    Appreciate your grind but imo it can be done the same, and even easier. I apply a good amount of speed stick, and wipe most of it off gently with a flat paper towel. I apply the the stencil, then press down like you did with paper towel to remove the excess ink.

    • @cappn_ronaldo
      @cappn_ronaldo  Год назад

      Thank dude i appreciate that. The stuff i used is actually speed stick mixed with alcohol and water. The key is gettiing the oils off the shit so you can make a clean transfer
