This is the most moving most powerful scene I've ever come across. The tears come down and you just sob in combination with the music as Lisa Gerard's lementing pierces right through your heart as you see Pita running into the arms of her mother and as the car drives off, its as if she is singing for him to be at peace and to not be afraid to cross over. It is very rare to find music that is as uplifting you feel as though you are walking on air, as devastating as losing a loved one, and enough to take away any pain and weight off of your shoulders. I'm speechless and cannot turn my head away.

He was lost and ready to give up and die. But Pita gave him life and happiness something he was having a hard time finding and desperately needed. At the end he gave his life for her. Not only will he be forgiven for his sins through sacrificial death but now he can rest knowing he did something good for someone he dearly loved and cared for very very much. One of the best movies I've ever seen.
Only by forgiving ourselves can we rest easy. You cannot take back what is already done and realisation of that fact will help you be a better person. People sacrifice themselves as a apology for their crimes as they feel that is the only way to show how much their sorry means.

There are no understandable words spoken....and the truth is..... it does not need any, as this is the universal language that she translates through a rather unique sound and earthly vibration that she portrays with her interaction with natures surrounding environment; much like earths tuning fork through her inner self, how it passes from her soul and through her vocal cords. A most unique artist with her own "glosalalia" invented language, who is truly at one with herself.
I watched this film when i was 8 years old and felt the pain through my father im 23 years old now and god i feel overwhelming indesrible sadness this film is so incredible shows the lonliness of a man and how a sweet child can bring joy and purity and love in his life only for that to be taken from him to then show his real pain that sweeps through him so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What an incredible story this movie told. Denzel Washington gave a superb performance. I didn't know it was based on a true story until the end of the movie. Then of course I cried like a baby. It is a fantastic movie. One of my favorites. And the music of course, just added to the tears. The music grabs hold of your emotions and just doesn't let go. Powerful stuff.
