When I listen to songs by The Midnight I am always filled with a surging sense of hope and liberation. The music makes me feel energized. Its like a beautiful face has filled my vision and is smiling at me. Like a pretty girl used to when I was a kid and my heart would skip a beat. It’s the feeling of promise and hope. It is the reminder that life is about experiencing love, friendships and adventure and its not over yet. Sure I had all that when I was a kid in the 80’s but now when I listen to The Midnight the music is telling me ‘why cant you still feel that now?’ Its not over, turn up the volume and let those sweet nostalgic rhythms fill you with the same joy and energy. There is so much I could complain about in my life right now and much the same issues I’m sure millions of others are suffering. But in the 5 minutes of listening to this song and so many others by The Midnight I am taken to a better place far away. I’m young & fit, I’m on a train, I’m holding the hand of a pretty girl and she’s grinning at me because she feels the same sense of hope and adventure. Her eyes are alive and she has this fire in her that makes me just want to laugh, dance and cry out. God I miss that. Thank you The Midnight for giving me that emotion again!

90s was the last golden age humanity has witnessed. So proud I had the chance to live that magical era in my childhood. To this day when I go back to those days my soul is colored and I find peace. Such a vivid and carefree era. People were out making new friends every day, loving each other every day. Back then it was so easy to make friends and love. Every day could happen something unexpected that would surprise you in a good way. Long live the 90s! 🏆 Make something today people and especially kids, so that you can have memories to cherish when you grow up. These are the things that matter. Discard this smartphone/social media era and go out there claim your life! These experiences and memories will one day be your treasure..
Great advice and so true! I was in high school in the 80's and had the best time ever. I really miss those days. Kids these days are missing out on so much and one day they will look back with regret. There's more to life than cell phones and social media! Be happy and free...enjoy your youth. 😄🙏
