Sounds fking amazing!!! And can back up the laps times, even using a stick manual gearbox. Well done HSV!
Didn't really back up its times to well, it finished 2nd last. It was beaten by the Mercedes AMG, Honda, Porsche and Skyline. :/ Mind you it did well to be in that category tho
Yep, thats right Peter Hman. I was really hoping this bad boy would really stick it to the others. Its with a heavy heart to say its just not in the same class as the Euro & Asian cars when it comes to performance. It was even harder to hear Davie Reynolds in the review say "For a car with more power then my Supercar, I really was expecting more, you really just cant feel it, which is a shame ".
RIP HSV, you will be missed!
I got #16 light my fire w1 ❤❤❤
I want one. The wrong track for the car. Should have been Bathurst.
Great video.
I could not agree more. That GTS-R could not even stretch it’s legs before it was into yet another corner.
The GTS-R should have been tested at Mt Panorama, that is where it surely can stretch it’s legs.
I felt that the GTS-R did sound bloody nice even from inside, but the noise on the outside would have been nothing short of amazing.
sounds tough
anyone know the lap time
It was 2nd last in the PCOTY with a 1:34.7. Its competitors were the Honda Civic, Mercedes AMG, Porsche Caymen, Nissan R35GTR and Audi TT RS
@@TheHonro no it wasn't. I have the mag in hand, it did a 1:33.7 and placed 5th, beaten by an M4 CS, Cayman S, E63 S, and GTR Nismo
Unfortunately these cars are now treated like investments and nearly all are tucked away under covers in garages and we'll overpriced. We do expect this to change with the economy tanking soon rates are going up and house repayments and cost of living skyrocket. The wife will say "It's either the house or the car. Get rid of the car!" Lol
Doesn’t look like it’s got great handling....
hondatrix that has got to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard! It’s faster and handles better than a TT M5 2018...
its a sedan...
@@keescherrington7505 The suspension seems to be far, far too soft with excessive body movement. Rival sedans like the Alfa Giulia Quadrifolgio seem to be a lot, lot more planted!
judging by it's handling an R32 GT-R will blow it's doors off
Similar drivers, probably 2-3 sec around Winton difference GTR V GTS-R W1
Righto comparing a light coupe sports car to a heavy luxury sports sedan. What funny is if both cars were stock the w1 would leave it
shonyfreshayzzz nah the GT-R would still walk it and if you want to go down that road you’d only be able to compare it to the SSV due to HSV essentially being a tuning company.
Ur lucky talk is free..these do 1:19 around sundown not even a r35 can do that exhaust boy.
r32 gtr is ancient what the hell you talking about? It has like 225mm 16 inch tyres. Can't compare mods right because then any shit box can be tuned to race specs.
My xr6t will eat this😆😆sarcasm
