Hyundai Atos Prime Dashboard Lights

It is frustrating to be driving at night and the dashboard illumination does not light up the dashboard, here is one of the reasons this could happen.

When I had that occur with my old car I took the cluster out, and replaced them with LED lights, using lots of 3mm orange LED's and a resistor, to make 6 strings of lights that illuminated the back of the cluster much more evenly. Would suggest that if the one backlight fails replace both, the other is the same batch, and will fail soon after, and you also get quite small LED retrofits that will fit that wedge base, and will last a really long time in there, giving more light and running a lot cooler as well, so the plastic does not get a scorch mark in it further.

Most Spare Shops should have them, try guys like Midas, Masterpaarts etc.

@@1gerard47 8 valve or 16 valve, the last one I did was for R9200.00 all parts, oils and engineering included.
