Martin ; I definitely rate you as one of the best modellers making videos here. So its very nice of you to take us through the process like this. Thank you.
I really enjoy these type of tutorials, great skills and results as always. I have learned more about fine detailing from you than anyone else. Please keep making build tutorials!
I am about to start a P-51 and the cockpit is first. You are teaching me, but at the same time, you are such a master I can never hope to make mine look as good. :)
As always, your true gift of modeling skills comes shining through. You make everything look so easy and guys like me can't even pronounce the stuff that you do let alone do it too. Thank you again for another sensational tutorial and best wishes to you always young man!
Great tutorial video! I have recently gotten into building models and I've watched a bunch of your videos. This is the oldest one I have watched and it is very noticeable how much your English has improved.
Just wanted to let ya know.......I'm a big fan of your skills in painting & detailing the P51 D Mustang. I don't care what anybody says......this Single Seat / Piston Engine Plane was ......was, is, and will always be the BEST WW II Plane EVER ! I wish I had your skills as I've built dozens of this airplane and never achieved your results ! Now I'm old with failing vision, shaky hands, but still love to build this model Airplane. Unfortunately this hobby has become so over priced that I can no longer afford to buy models, paints and supplies. Now I'm left with watching you transform a model kit of the P51 D into a work of art ! Keep building the P51 D and I'll keep watching....... I'm subscribing to your channel Thanks for keeping me entertained with your amazing skills !
Bejesus! I've been doing model aircraft off and on since I was 8 yo, ( 50 next year ) and thought I was pretty damn good, even won a couple of competitions at some local hobby shops. After watching this guy, I realize my amateur days are far from over. That is some amazing work!
dont want to be mean. but your english has gotten so much better in two years.. watching your newest videos compared to these videos is like day and night. youre getting a lot of practice in. good work both on the models and language!
And I thought I was good at painting cockpits !! Well now I know how to make them really good. A most enjoyable video with some impressive tips. Liked the reminder shots at the end of the video. Excellent presentation, thank you, will be watching more of your vids.
One word: HOLY !@#$% COW!!! And my wife says I get too detailed when I am painting a model!!! That is an incredible paint job. How do you keep such a steady hand?????
I found this video very impressive and helpful. I will be trying to build a airfix Messerschmitt 109 soon and I haven't built an airplane kit in years so I'll be using your video as a great reference. Thanks for sharing.
Well, I am picking my jaw off the floor, that was superb. I'm inspired to try to make mine better. Thank you for sharing. Oh by the way, excellent choice of music and the production value was top notch. Thanks again.BruceMadison, SD
G'day Plasmo, Excellent, detail work, truly outstanding! I'm glad you showed how to achieve these results just using fine brushes. I don't use airbrushes so I'm always looking for good brush technique tips. As I come back to modelling after a long break, fantastic videos like yours are a real help to me. Thank you so much. Cheers, BH P.S. I also really like the music!
Excellent demo Martin ... I have really enjoyed your other videos ... very steady hands ... great ways to detail the kits for that extra touch of realism ... job well done keep them coming ... you inspire me (us)!
this is a really good guide, I've just started building models myself, mainly level 3 revell star wars kits at the moment they certainly don't look as detailed as this but everyone has to start somewhere I guess.
FANTASTIC!!! OUTSTANDING!!! Modeling shown here!!!! I just hope that I can achieve the same type of results as you have with my Revell 1:48 P-51D Mustang!!!!
Nice thank you for these amazing vids great improvements on my models now Btw may I just ask what detail brushes are you using and what would you recommend. *also would you mind doing a equipment video and tools you use please
that is a very nice cockpit there. damn dude, a great tutorial. very nice work, wish i could do that but wel.... i'm not that great but i still enjoy building modelling kits but these tutorials help a lot. thanks a lot :)
Martin congratulations on creating one of the best, most informative guides I've seen so far. You have done an OUTSTANDING job of explaining to your viewers the techniques you use to create your fantastic models. This new method you are doing works really well, the music creates a relaxing atmosphere to help absorb the info and your english is great! I do wish my hands were as steady as yours just as others have commented. Maybe I should paint after a shot of scotch heheh I am really looking forward to the rest of your build. Again, thanks for putting the time and effort into sharing your wonderful abilities. Cheers! :D
Wow, you probably spend more time on a cockpit then I do on whole plane... Thing is, I prefer to close my canopies and you can't see all these details inside:) Anyway - another greeat video man, keep up good work!
As always amazing work. My pwn models cannot hold a candle to yours but hopefully in the next year I will no longer be traveling and can stay put in order to set up an air brush area and begin to work on techniques. Have you ever used Future as your varnish before the panel line accent? And if so will it still protect the paint?
Czech Republic became modelling superpower. massive respect from Croatia
pozdrav iz srbije
One of the best instructional videos I have ever seen, thank you... excellent work.
I’m pretty sure that’s more detailed than a full sized one! Incredible work.
