    Thank you SO much for making this video. This is the only video I found on this connector removal that went into all the necessary details. All of the other videos failed to mention that you need to feel for that stop point. I watched this video and got it right away. Thanks!

    Thanks for all your tips n tricks guy's, although with any wiring ...I make it a rule to disconnect the battery and always ,draw up the wires on paper ... or take a pic..., no matter how simple, so all goes well on reassembly

    Thanks Ryan , FYI pin 4 which is blocked on a Sport Glide is actually the output for a connection to operate highway lights or fog lights. The turn signal thumb button can be removed and file the little nub down and it will rock to the right to activate the output for highway lights.

  • @francispetaluma

    Hey thanks! I use a small flat blade screw driver (I mean a really really small screwdriver) like the kind that comes in a small kit. FYI, you'll notice on some of the plugs there are white plastic plugs, these are blanks used to add accessories to the bike. I was able to add a passing light kit to my 2018 Softail Slim, by pulling out the blank plugs it converted them from a 3 wire to a 4 wire and... Bob's you're Uncle! the passing lamps worked like a charm!

    Awesome video!!! THANK YOU!!! I was worried about how to do this...I have a 4-pin to 2-pin molex connector plug in the fairing behind the radio; one of the two turn signal wires (the yellow one) came out while moving harnesses around, and left the molex connector stuck in the harness. This one wire has affected the turn signals and the brake lights! Now I can fix the wire and molex connector for the harness, and this should do the trick!

    I am trying to eliminate lots of stuff. Going old skool with my 2008 Night Train. Suicide shift so front break it is gone already. I want to remove my switches. If I get new Molex plugs can I put them straight into the ones under the tank?? Blinkers are gone so I only need run/stop and start on the right and then horn and Hi-beam on the left. Can I just wire them without the others wires??

    • @mickey-eq5vw
      @mickey-eq5vw 4 месяца назад

      there are basic wiring kits you can buy for your specific model and books wiring for idiots for just major shit, signals, running light, brake light exc.. but becareful with a 2008 disconnecting a neutral light and other lights will prevent your bike from starting so do your research

    That 2nd long square connector with the two black and white wires is an absolute b***h!
    Got one out that took like ½ hour then the other was being an a$$hole.
    I was by myself but I use a very small needle nose vise grips to simulate someone gently pulling from the other side.
