@@lukeskywalker4800 It depends on your budget you can get an rx580 for like less than $100. If you have a little more like $200 get an RX 6600. Or in the $300 range is the RX 6700xt or the RX6750xt for $350 right now.

@@fallenmm119 if you mean RX580 no, you will be GPU capped on most demanding games. Some latest games you will have to drop settings between a mix of low to high settings to even try maintaining 60FPS... I had a I7 2600K at 4.9ghz until a few months ago and now I have a 8700K and the FPS are almost the same thing and in fact some games that run bad continue to run bad. Also even on the 2600K I could never even get close to make it to 100% most games I play would stay around 60% because the RX580 just isn't enough. But I don't play competitive FPS games that require low hardware, I mostly play demanding games. And upcoming games all I can say is for now everything UE5 based I tried don't run much good on RX580, either it plays pretty slow or have to reduce settings so much that looks worse than games from years ago though I haven't played Fortnite which might be one of the very few UE5 that probably runs fine. Ps: now a much more recent GPU you will lack CPU on a lot of games unless you had a I7 6600K, delid it and OC to the max would still be somewhat decent but not perfect...
@Narkomancers I don't think so, I5 6600 non K is a bit better than a stock 2600K and also uses DDR4 though I don't think it will be able to get much higher clocks on it... But yeah my 2600K was at 4.9ghz instead of stock max turbo of 3.8ghz which makes a good difference. I never played a game with my I7 2600K at stock 3.8ghz with RX580...
I bough a RX 580 for 90 dollars on 2nd hand and I really really enjoyed for years before to change it for one RTX 3070. The graphic card of the people. I should put a soviet union stick in this graphic card because it has been made for the people.
I picked up two Red Devil RX 580 8gb gpus for my daughters PC's. Just finished putting them together as a Christmas present, paired with a Ryzen 1600x CPU and 16GB ram. :D
I have 1440p, 32inch monitor, using RX580 4GB version, pared with ryzen 3600x (till yesterday, now i have 5600x) and I play ALL of my games at 1440p resolution. I play older games such as CS:GO (140 - 180fps), Apex legends (90-102fps), Control (around 70), Shadow of Mordor (65-70fps), Witcher 3 (around 70) etc. I never use 1080p, but only 1440p, because i prefer the visuals and I am satisfied. When I decide to play newer games, will see what will happen. 😅
i paired this with a 7500f, 1tb nvme, 32gb gud ram, 750w a+ gold psu for £450 also loads argb cuz that makes frames better, it still holds up in most games
I’m rocking the 580 on my old inspection i7 3770k and it’s great for as old as it is keep telling myself to upgrade but I don’t care about latest and greatest this does the job
Yeah , dude. I love this card, i still use it. I have the Red Devil OC 8GB version and i can still play most my games high or maxed in 4K 30-60 FPS depending on the game.
I bought a new XFX RX580 at best buy two days ago. It was 120 bucks after discounts I had. Bought it for my work pc. The water pump in my 1080ti hybrid crapped out so I needed a temporary replacement. Hell of a GPU for the money!!!
Now in 2024 I tested both cards as I have both of them and 3d software to produce parts in a 3d printer. The RX 580 completes the tasks more than 2 or 3 minutes after the 1060... I think the apps are now developed to produce better results with Nvidia, even Intel. In a PC with I5 7700 with integrated GPU it is much much faster than in another PC I own with Ryzen 4600 + Rx580 8 gb, incredible. I tested Orca Slicer, Ideamaker and Cura. Orca and Ideamaker works just fine with Nvidia and Intel and only Cura works fine with AMD 580. Definitively AMD is for gaming and gamers, NVIDIA and Intel are for serious production.
Got mine today ,, XFX Blackwolf Rx 580 8gb for $46(Php 2500) though its my first time building a PC, for me this deal is a jackpot, man the price is still dropping here in the Philippines, oh god best purchase ever
Was the graphic card fan speed automatic in the tests or did you manually set it to a specific value? Because it is strange that the temperature of your graphic card is very low! It is for the graphics card, which usually has a high temperature all the time
long live the RX 580, I'm still playing everything with this graphics card that I bought in 2017 and with the help of FSR it can still continue to fight, I love it Gygabyte RX 580 8 GB running at 1475 mhz, 2175 mhz VRAM: 88 FPS at furmark 1080p preset. CPU E5-2667 V2 , 32 GB RAM DDR3 ECC 1866mhz
Got this card late 2018 and in 2023 its still delivering amazing performance at mid 60s for temps. Recently Ive been using my pc at my 4k TV and it plays Black Ops 3 multiplayer zombies at high settings 50 fps average and 45 fps AVG on modded minecraft(Valhelsia 5) with medium sildur's shaders(no shaders its 80fps avg but its minecraft so its expected) all at 4k native. I think I'll upgrade my Ryzen 2400g before I decide to upgrade my card since I usually play at 1080p
According to what it's better, if you say it's better than the GTX 1060, it's true, but the processor you're using is a good processor, and if you want better performance in new games without problems, a new graphics card is necessary. An interesting situation that we should keep in mind is that there is a site that technically shows that the processor and the video card are incompatible, which can create a bottleneck, but I did not encounter such a problem when I watched the game tests. I have a Ryzen 7 1700 x and MSI RX 580 8 GB OC graphics card on my system, I play two online games I play with them with low settings, for example Battlefield 1 is an old game, but in multiple player games the more effects can cause problems and affect the way you play the game, so the settings are low.
I bought this card back in 2017...after watching your video i'm planning to keep it for some time and pair it with ryzen 7600x to see its full potential.
Hello, I have a Ryzen 3 2200G and an RC 580 8GB 2048SP. I want to stream my game but its tearing. I was wonder maybe I should upgrade my cpu that fits with my RX 580. But im not sure of what I should buy. Should I go for a Ryzen 5 5600G or 5600X? Would it be fine?
Great Performance i just got a computer that came with an RX 580 i took it out and put my old 1080 in, from this video it seems like this gpu is still holding, might put it in my old pc and sell lol.
it's impressive how the gpu temp is low (max 62 ) of the sapphire nitro, i have xfx and the temp reach 84 ( simple case), do you use open test bench, (i mean no case)? , nice video and thank you.
How are you having such a amazing temps on your RX 580, I have the xfx verison and its boiling hot, even tho i changed the paste i got like 4-5 celsius lower temps but stil at 75 degrees, btw REALLY NICE CLIP
35:30 a very interesting card, it doesn't seem to perform much different between 1080p & 1440p. Impressive. I am just learning about this card as I finally embark on building a budget desktop, mainly for AI rendering and very limited games. Wonder if this can punch GTAVI on 1080p at least normal settings. Guess we will see, but at least then upgrading to a 6600 should do the trick.
Don't know much about Graphics cards. I currently have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 ti, would it be worth it to upgrade to the RX 580 for around $90 or should I wait till I can afford a better graphics card.

Will this gpu choke a i5 6600 3.3ghz?
Sir what system you paired with it?
@Narkomancers I don't think so, I5 6600 non K is a bit better than a stock 2600K and also uses DDR4 though I don't think it will be able to get much higher clocks on it...
But yeah my 2600K was at 4.9ghz instead of stock max turbo of 3.8ghz which makes a good difference. I never played a game with my I7 2600K at stock 3.8ghz with RX580...
Bought mine haven’t got a mobo case and cooler.
I bough a RX 580 for 90 dollars on 2nd hand and I really really enjoyed for years before to change it for one RTX 3070.
The graphic card of the people. I should put a soviet union stick in this graphic card because it has been made for the people.
Lmao
😂❤❤
picked up one for $70usd. waiting for it to arrive. Good to see it's still a decent performer.
so you OCed this card ? cos 1450 Mhz its a huge =)
I picked up two Red Devil RX 580 8gb gpus for my daughters PC's. Just finished putting them together as a Christmas present, paired with a Ryzen 1600x CPU and 16GB ram. :D
i hope fsr 2.1 will breath new life for RX580 at 1080p
I have 1440p, 32inch monitor, using RX580 4GB version, pared with ryzen 3600x (till yesterday, now i have 5600x) and I play ALL of my games at 1440p resolution. I play older games such as CS:GO (140 - 180fps), Apex legends (90-102fps), Control (around 70), Shadow of Mordor (65-70fps), Witcher 3 (around 70) etc. I never use 1080p, but only 1440p, because i prefer the visuals and I am satisfied. When I decide to play newer games, will see what will happen. 😅
This quality of the video is AMAZING!! Dude your underrated .
bro how is your temps are these low mine is xfx gts blk edition with 1405+ stock core clock and i oc it to 1480 @1160 mv and it reachs 80~82 C
i paired this with a 7500f, 1tb nvme, 32gb gud ram, 750w a+ gold psu for £450
also loads argb cuz that makes frames better, it still holds up in most games
Looks like a found a new piece for my Ryzen 5 5600 for the next years, thank you dude !
Thanks so much for this video! Thinking of getting a 5600, so I might make the purchase!
I’m rocking the 580 on my old inspection i7 3770k and it’s great for as old as it is keep telling myself to upgrade but I don’t care about latest and greatest this does the job
Insprion
@@onlythebravehomestead6644 is that a prebuilt Dell? Have you had any issues running the 580?
@@thestoicwhinger yes no problems
My daughter have now my previous Asus Strix RX 580, a bomb indeed. Great to watch this video!
Best card for 1080p high settings..❤👍
Bought this card with my 1st build 2019. Was looking to upgrade, but don’t have a 1440p monitor, so at 1080p guess I can hold off another year.
I also have an RX 580 and an R7 2700x and I'm still quite happy with them. The CPU could be something newer 😁
Nice its all about the game play. 1080p is just perfect for most of ppl
Got mine today ,, XFX Blackwolf Rx 580 8gb for $46(Php 2500) though its my first time building a PC, for me this deal is a jackpot, man the price is still dropping here in the Philippines, oh god best purchase ever
I bought the rx580 back in 2018 for about $230 and it came with 2 free games, The Division 2 and RE2. Best purchase I ever made.
Was the graphic card fan speed automatic in the tests or did you manually set it to a specific value? Because it is strange that the temperature of your graphic card is very low! It is for the graphics card, which usually has a high temperature all the time
i think you may be on to something there. theres no way a real rx580 was running that cool throughout the duration of every test on every resolution.
Been using it for almost 2 years, and I'm enjoying mw2 at 1080p high :)
using it since 2018
@@augustseptember296 since 2020
DID YOU TEST ULTRA SETTINGS ALL GAMES OR IS THIS MEDIUM? THANKS IN ADVANC RX580!
long live the RX 580, I'm still playing everything with this graphics card that I bought in 2017 and with the help of FSR it can still continue to fight, I love it
Gygabyte RX 580 8 GB running at 1475 mhz, 2175 mhz VRAM: 88 FPS at furmark 1080p preset.
Hey, i watched your videos and I need to tell you that your videos changed my life and love you from the bottom of my ❤️. God bless you.
Hi, what software did you use to show the fps, temps, W, % ....
Nice test bro
Why your gpu are soo good dammnn what thermal pad did you use
Is the better CPU can help the GPU workload, so it can run in low. Temperature?
thanks subscribed, 580/90 is the best for low-medium range PCs - positioned at 58% 3dmark of the passmark
waiting for the second hand rx 580 8gb bought it like $65 almost, might clean it and reapply new thermal paste
I have a Ryzen 7 1700 x and MSI RX 580 8 GB OC graphics card on my system, I play two online games I play with them with low settings, for example Battlefield 1 is an old game, but in multiple player games the more effects can cause problems and affect the way you play the game, so the settings are low.
what app are using for monitoring your gpu and cpu's performance in the left of your screen? may i know? thank you ..
I bought this card back in 2017...after watching your video i'm planning to keep it for some time and pair it with ryzen 7600x to see its full potential.
I have rx580 and ryzen 5 2600! Which gpu upgrade make sense? 2060 super, 2070, 1080ti or sonthing else?
Hello, I have a Ryzen 3 2200G and an RC 580 8GB 2048SP. I want to stream my game but its tearing. I was wonder maybe I should upgrade my cpu that fits with my RX 580. But im not sure of what I should buy. Should I go for a Ryzen 5 5600G or 5600X? Would it be fine?
Hi, what software you're using for monitoring your hardware? Thanks.
Did you find out?
I’m using Rivatuner but it’s my own profile
Hi,Thanks for the video. What software did you use to view your fps and other data?
Great Performance i just got a computer that came with an RX 580 i took it out and put my old 1080 in, from this video it seems like this gpu is still holding, might put it in my old pc and sell lol.
Is it still a good option to consider??
I have a 5 3400g, Do u think it would be absolutely fine, Any advice?
bro which processor are you using by the way ?
it's impressive how the gpu temp is low (max 62 ) of the sapphire nitro, i have xfx and the temp reach 84 ( simple case), do you use open test bench, (i mean no case)? , nice video and thank you.
which app are you using for monitoring fps and cpu gpu usage?
i have bought a used pc for cheap and it has ryzen 5 2400G and this gpu is perfect for it and its still really good
bro can i ask question?
Can I Get Over 250+ Fps Without Shutter In Cs With This Settings And I3 12100f ??1280x960 all low settings
Just bought one of these as a placeholder for my new system until I get my 7900XT in a few months. Looks pretty decent for the £55 I paid.
just wondering what software are you using to track the FPS?? thank
great video! just bought rx 590 GME (580 it is), btw, how to get that style of OSD? very readable, please do tutorial for it
What kinda of program u use to track fps on screen?

gtx 1650 gddr6 or rx 580 2048sp 8gb ???
I have an RX 580 Nitro Sapphire and I have high temperatures 80 or 85 in 1080p, how do you get a good temperature? in 1440p?
How many shaders?
How much performance with 2048 shaders?
I paid 180 € for it in may 2017 (4 GB version, Msi Gaming X). Is still sold for around 65€ 7 years later in may 2024...
How are you having such a amazing temps on your RX 580, I have the xfx verison and its boiling hot, even tho i changed the paste i got like 4-5 celsius lower temps but stil at 75 degrees, btw REALLY NICE CLIP
I use to have the rx 589 sapphire. I upgraded to a 2070 super and my fiance uses it now. She can play all the games she likes at max settings still.
Indeed a beast, thou I'm upgrading to RX 6600 soon ^^
What is the best processor for RX 580 with streaming?
It is ok to be piared in i7 3770 this gpu rx580 8gb?
Hope to asnwer, thanks,
Thanks,
35:30 a very interesting card, it doesn't seem to perform much different between 1080p & 1440p. Impressive. I am just learning about this card as I finally embark on building a budget desktop, mainly for AI rendering and very limited games. Wonder if this can punch GTAVI on 1080p at least normal settings. Guess we will see, but at least then upgrading to a 6600 should do the trick.
Truly is a beast I just changed it for my gtx 970
what hardware monitor overlay is that you’re using? and what is the graph displaying?
I’m using Rivatuner and the graph is showing frametime
@@rx58000 thanks!
Don't know much about Graphics cards. I currently have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 ti, would it be worth it to upgrade to the RX 580 for around $90 or should I wait till I can afford a better graphics card.
Wait.
Amazing card, and video! Though, there is something going on with that Plague Tale's low FPS. Was it on max graphics?
Just got myself 2 of those bad boys nitro+ 8gb pair witj zen 3 ryzen 9 you DONT NEED high end or overpriced GPU overwatch valorant 👌🏻👌🏻 you named it runs amazing
Pretty much same with GTX 970, played through Cyberpunk 2077 , RDR2, Watch Dogs 2 , etc... Almost everything on low settings though, but still, ran pretty well @~60 fps
Do you know how much performance would be lost in a PCI Express 2.0 x16 configuration? It will be limited anyway by an fx 8350 CPU at 4.6ghz.
I bought one 2 years ago with a MSI nighblade m.2 build that I had with a i7 6600k and 16gb ram. Best graphics card I bought for $100 on ebay.
Love it! Can someone tell me what program he used to get the performance stats on the left side?
i also have rx 580 sapphire nitro +, when i'm playing tekken 8 and RE4, they are very smooth..
Bought mine Sapphire RX580+ 8GB haven’t bought a mobo , cooler, case yet.
I miss my both of these cards. Have2 RX580 8GB overclock edition and it serves me well back in India. Now in UK, looking to buy gaming laptop.
Good job man, thanks
gpu cooler? stock?
how do you keep that gpu on that temperatures? mine reachs like 70 degrees on full charge (1366mhz) yours reachs like 56 degrees at 1450 mhz wtf
how to have benchmark like that? is that msi afterburner?
i got the sapphire version one, it runs great i got 40 fps in rdr2
