I am a revert since 2002. I believe in my heart the challenges and hardships I endured after reverting were a test from Allah. How serious am I? How strong am I? Am I willing to change my ways for the sake of Allah? I have always said to anyone that Islam is only as hard as you make it for yourself. Allah has given us Fardh Sunnah and Nafl in every aspect of Islam as well as Haram Halal and Mushbooh. If you want to fight what is your duty or question His authority you will only make it hard for yourself. Do your research and sift through what is from Allah and his prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam and stop what is innovative. Alot of Muslims who were blessed with be born Muslim don't take the time to research and they follow the traditions of their parents not realizing some of what they were taught isn't from Islam. Don't go against your parents but educate yourself and move away in a smooth way from that which is not correct. May Allah strengthen us and educate us and bless us all with janatul firdaus. Ameen summa ameen.
