Without a doubt, Elvis is the most versatile voice of the 50s (he continued to reign until the 70s), he moved successfully in different styles and that is not within everyone's reach. Elvis was not an old glory of the 50s, nor a fat guy who performed in Las Vegas dressed in white, the king is much bigger than the caricature that some claim. A music legend.
He was exciting to watch and made you feel you were the reason he was loving it. Not many performers can connect with what makes us human like he could. We all have a little of his love of bringing home a good song flowing through our veins and he knew that to.
