On the front of the unit it doesn't state that, it's false advertisement, no point in having coverage for a specific part when the whole unit doesn't work
My brother 10 years warranty counts for the main part. In fridges it's the compressor, in washing machines its the motor, in microwaves its the inverter, e.t.c. do your research, all other brands have 1 year warranty covering everything. Lg has 2 years warranty on the unit and 10years on the main part.

Don't buy, they don't honor the 10 year warranty... they will state it only covers a specific part
Yes,the 10 year warranty is for specific parts. In this case its 10years warranty on the smart inverter. The microwave has 2 years
