I just started with deliver that. I'm confused as to how the accepting offers work. If I get a gig for the following day & I accept the order. Do I also have to start the trip in order to keep the job.im asking because I accepted an order that Tobe picked up the following day, but I didn't do the start trip. I didn't do that because I assumed since I already accepted the order I was good. They gave it to another driver. Can you tell me how that works
You must slide the start tab on the catering orders you've accept or the app will unassign your offer selected to another driver. Rule of thumb, I'll start a Dlivrd order about an hour before the actual pick-up time. I'll start a DeliverThat order about 30 minutes before the pick-up times.
I discovered you today and signed up with Dlivrd... Tomorrow is my onboarding meeting. Thank you so much for making these videos. You are awesome!!! I have my first gig with Delivered That today.
Dlivrd assigns orders directly to the driver. You then have 15 minutes to accept or decline. If you accet but have to decline, do it as soon as possible. A no-show is grounds foe deactivation.
@Gig Media With The Gig Geezer yes I am aware my comment was in reference to deliverthat for when you were talking about not being able to get orders. The video I watched about this was from deliverthat not from others drivers. Ty good luck great videos I am a new subscriber to your channel. I was under a different email on the above comment. Lol
@@sidehustle2478 , I'm guilty of trying to reply while driving. DeliverThat sends out orders to the entire market. It's first one hits, first one get it The frustrating part with DeliverThat's app is you'll miss the notification more times than you'd like. The app can be difficult to navigate through to get to the offer page. Thus, that's a leading reason why order opportnities are missed.
@Gig Media With The Gig Geezer ok ok please be careful 😀 I looked into DT first but they are not here yet actual they are in NY just not on long island yet. It matters you would think so but it does. With NYC being so close. Ty
Did my first dlivrd yesterday. It was a subway lunch order for a track team. My big bag came in clutch. All delivery drivers had to wait outside and call our contact to have them come out and get the food. I need at least another big bag though. I'm assuming by what i've seen that other orders could be huge. Making no less than $20 is good. Hopefully I get more than one a day.
The worst thing you can do is be a no-show with Dlivrd. It's essentially one-and-done with them. If you've got to cancel out of an order, do it as early as possible, as in the day before since most orders are assigned the day before.
@@giggeezer got it👍 thanks for the advice I had just signed up a couple of weeks ago and noticed that there wasn’t a “assign to another driver option” like deliverthat. I’ll definitely keep that in mind next time I double book myself. Keep up the content!
I use a box inside the bag for added support. It helps a great deal for sure. And a platform folding cart is also a must have with these orders. Yes I have a lot of bags as well. Yes, for me dlivrd is worth it i don't have deliverthat at this time its not in my market yet. 👍🏽
I've been on the Dlvrd platform for a couple of months and the only disappointing thing about it is that I get sent an order about once every 10-12 days... and I'm in the Dallas market! I wish I knew how orders were sent out because I'd love to get at least one order a day. And ideas Gig?
I worked with them when I lived in Nashville. I loved it bigger orders bigger tips! It was awesome. Moved to Clarksville so I stopped taking orders cause they weren’t worth the miles. But super nice company.
Okay... thanks Geezer. You did mention the shortcoming in DeliverThat which causes a lot of missed opportunities. Considering tha I don't have a flying fickled finger of fate, do you have a video on which you actually explain how to snag a DeliverThat offer. Or better than that, any ideas why I haven't heard a single ping from them in more than 24 hours. Is that normal? This is after all, Broward County Florida. I'm wondering if that other videographer who happens to be a "partner" has this market locked up.
From time to time, I've sent DeliverThat a text message asking if they anticipated any opportunities coming down the pike in my market. They're usually good at responding.
Can you link the deliver on here
Delivrd has been crushing deliver that in my market...deliver that requires you to buy the bags first....

I just watched a deliveredthat video on this they do allow you to accept it and quickly review it or keep or release to another driver.
