Wanted asked question..I replaced rockers on a 2013.wit 3.6 .. I used special tools & did as instructed ..all my marks I made prior to repair lines back up.. Even after rotating engine 2x . 👌🏾 .my questions is when I rotate it has a spot where chain gets a lil slack then as I continue to rotate it tightens bac up ..Again all my lines are dead on ...Is this normal ...Was thinking tensioner has to be oil fed when crank engine ⁉️ Thanks n advance

The one im working on # 3 cyl intake rocker dropped out and ground off cam . Engine ran hot because of compression / exhaust getting into water. I need a passenger side intake cam . 2013 dodge durango . The number on my cam is 201372 do any of you know what a good number will interchange with this number . Facing the windshield in front of the radiator the cam is on the left inside cam . I think they call that the right side intake cam, but it’s on the left facing you . I just tore it down yesterday. My first 3.6l . So Im having to learn !

Since this is a year old I assumed you're already done. Was the cam the problem? I have that #3 intake rocker that fell off. So I'm installing 2 new cams and phasers but the damn timing tensioner won't move. I even hammered the plastic tool in only to it splitting apart. I guess tomorrow I'll have to remove the timing chain cover.

The left and right banks and direction of rotation are determined from the flywheel end of the engine. The arrows need to be lined up on the left bank and the straight lines lined up on the right bank….as viewed from the flywheel end….

This is the 2011+ V6 engine, the 3.6L. It will be the same as the 3.2Ls made after that.
This is not an engine that would have been available back in 2008, but the general idea of this video should get those on track. Just beware that your marks will look different, but they will be in similar locations.

Left cylinder head has two arrows pointing together on cam phaser...Right cylinder head has two lines together on cam phaser.
